100.9 Melvina shirks down to her humanoid form and informs Yuhn of the wakings of Bahvel and Valthaal. The lone giant arrives, finding most of city in hiding and informs the two what they already know. After all, the conflict between the four is an inevitable occurrence.

100.10: The Giant asks them to inform his people if they know where they one known as Bahvel is so that they might help in the slaying of him/her.

Melvina informs the giant that her senses say that Bahvel is manically flowing through the currents of the ocean, but is bound to show up wherever Melvina and Yuhn are. Bahvel and Valthaal's eternal goal is to seal away Melvina and Yuhn so that they may destroy life unopposed. She tells them that The Elemental Gigas are basically unkillable, but sufficient damage triggers a sort of hibernation state that lasts for many many years and sends the being away from the planet and into deep space.

101.3: The Giant thanks her then leaves but before it can get far she overhear the Giant muttering about awakening the old one.

101.4 The giant form of Valthaal arrives in Malcar. He shrinks down to a humanoid form and appears before Melvina and Yuhn.

Again the fates have decided for us to fight. At least this planet has life on it... Reminds me of the time both of you failed five cycles ago and I vaporized every last breath of life. Oh the smell of burnt husks amuse me. And wouldn't you believe it? Little Yuhn has his little civilization. A waste as usual.

101.5:Anzgul seeing his opritunity, takes form of one of the bird people. He has black feathers tiped with bright red. He goes by the name 'Aveniz' when he speaks to the bird people. He gives them the power to create the temple of war more quickly than normally possible. The bird people of the giant island are seen addicted to another new substance of the world, produced from fermenting the 'anistine' flower in sea water producing a drug that works much like adrenaline.
