Bonii in the same tech tree are not cumulative, IIRC.

That makes sense, but it's not in the rules. Which is odd, since unlike the fleets this had to have come up in the other thread.

Bonii in the same tech tree are not cumulative, IIRC.

Ye v: Explosive shells (+1/0) get replaced by Prim.Tanks (+2/+1) and then by Adv.Tanks (+3/+2).

On a side note. I think we might have to rerun the entire game.

Quote
Research Treaty - Exchange of scientific reports and visits of foreign scientists. Both sides of the treaty gain +1RP per 3 Academies they control together, rounded down (for example, Nation X has 4 academies and Nation Y has 5 academies. 4+5 = 9 /3 = +3 RP to both).

Now, carefull analysis of the research production of varying players leads me to believe that the GM erronously uses +1 RP per 2 academies. Since this is way overpowered, we might have to recalculate the entire game's research points.

There are 2 ways of rectifying this. Either retroactively removing points, or the other option, which I consider more fair and easier, is to calculate who got to many points, and give bonus RP so it all evens out.

No, it does divide by 3. Would you like to point out which RP seems wonky? It might be another mistake. Also, yeah, you can trade with country with which you are at war. Cannot sign research or trade treaty though.

Ye v
I haven't see that one what does it stand for? (It's kinda hard to google, though apparently both Jews and 'gangstas' use the word 'yev', go figure.)

Just look at the research for the Ottomans. It can't be correct.

According to the system he gets +40

-Academies : 8*2=16
-Research treaty with Spain: (8 + 6)/3 = 4
-Research treaty with Prussia (8+7)/3 = 5
-Research treaty with Russia (8+8)/3= 5
-Research treaty with Southern Europe (8+3)/3 = 3

16+17 =/= 40

So, it's not what I suspected it would be, but it's still wrong. You get similar stuff for everybody else.

I'm behind a point.

7*2=14 Academies
+3 Grand Academy of Arkhangelsk
8+8/3=5 (Albion)
8+8/3=5 (Ottomans)
7+8/3=5 (Prussia)
-3 (Traditional)
-----------
29 (not 28)
(I'm going to guess, you forgot the Capital?)

Well, I can upload that screenshot again.
Could you? I for one have no idea anymore who anyone else is allied to has treaties with (except Arluen, and now maybe Ottomans).

Okay, hunted down the error, for some reasons a lot of countries had too many academies (Ottomans, Spain, Arluen and Southern Europe all had one too many), probably errors when provinces changed hand. I edited the spreadsheet to add some logic that should prevent this.

Also, Ottoman had enlightened for some reason. So all fixed.

Edit: Oh, yeah, forgot the capital. Those rules are a pain in the ass to keep track of, I'm going to streamline RP production next turn.

Mine did seem a bit high.  Oh well; I had a huge overrun from last turn so I don't think it'd have made a difference in hitting the tech.

You know, Scandinavia can' affect Arluen. It would be pretty safe to post ahead ;)

On a side note, Arluen seems to suffer from a serious case of phantom armies.

a1s: You did not offer any specific move. Also, the Emperor did agree on that alliance, so feel free to move troops now.

Well, no, not yet. But I am 5 player behind the current turn holder. (If you meant "general startegy", that would be "move a pile of troops slowly westward." Russia does not have Albion's fleet, but when we do arrive to the front, I promise it will be with more than 1 army.)
((That's not a dig, Albion does Special Ops, Russia does war of attrition. Different utilities))
Speaking of, accepting a trade agreement from Russia would allow you to build extra railroads and get those armies 2x as soon. Unless you lose no territories (or Southern Europa gains some) that is the only treaty of such benefit.
