Misaki continues to yell at and berate the fighters. But then again she seems to be doing that no matter what is happening. And unless her friend suddenly feels talkative or something else happens, she'll probably keep on doing so until it's her turn to fight.

Bring the guy to court, he did blow up half a neighborhood correct? Guy probs has a finders bounty on him. Point the bounty hunters his way, also can get money off him in court for violating working laws in regards to magic~

"It's easy work, usually, and pays well. Getting the guy tossed into jail, preferably in pieces, would be nice, but not worth it, really. And besides, I was kinda exaggerating. The tower's kinda totaled, but other than that, a few nearby villages were sort of singed."

Lionan coughs quietly, possibly in greeting.

Soarla gets bored of watching her dullahan and heads out to the local pub. She is wearing her signature armor, but it is covered up in a black  torn cloak. She eventuall finds a seat near the bar brawl area and sits down to watch the fight.

"Huh? Where's he taking her?" Misaki asks, being a bit slow on the uptake.

"That's where they take fighters that got knocked out. Can't have a bunch of unconscious people being thrown out the back if we want this place to stay secret. Also, I'm fairly certain that they're lovers. That's what everyone thinks. They ignore people who ask. I personally don't really care since they always put on a good show."

After looking at each other silently for a bit, he turned back to Vashi.
"Well, it's a bit more complicated than that. See, you know how most people use incantations or alchemy or some other kind of magic? I've always been horrible at that. Like summon-massive-demon-instead-of-rabbit horrible. Or summon-rabbit-instead-of-massive-demon. Really the opposite of whatever I wanted. What I use instead are runes. Not normally used nowadays, but just as, if not more effective. Most mages scoff at the idea of runes. Hiro -- That's my employer -- uses them extensively. So, while I'm not officially an apprentice, I get free access to several books that would otherwise be extremely hard to find. I'm sure that many just burnt today, but he has cellars full of tomes on runes you can't find in a library.

Pendle blushes, which really just means a small section of his cheeks turn a slightly deeper red.

Runic is a fairly good way to teach how the universe's structure can be manipulated through thought, any competent magikar teaches that first. It's just not useful past a certain point. Freeform Magic needs a flexible mind, takes a bit of practice but then you can do stuff like this~ Valri snaps and a illusory potato forms above his hand. Also cute mages are best mages~ they often know a few "fun" spells~
