Ok, so i have read the whole thread over the last two days.
One question comes to mind -
if creating 30 scrolls of identify from ambient mana would create a localized demon hotspot why doesn't raising a bunch of zombies from ambient mana tear reality a new one?

Because we powered the spell ourselves if the fire spread it would start eating ambience but this is largely based on our own supply.

for now:order zombie legion of undetermined size to fight defensively among the bandits - hamper movement - minimize damage to self.
many of those enemies should have bled - absorb blood, then throw back as adjectify: dead on strong enemies (is the adjectify ability a scribblenauts reference?)
everybody else: ???

... what is that strange darker grey blob with a lighter grey object coming out of it above the enemies?

later:
we seem to have been using a nugget of demonite as a channeling focus several times - is that leveling up or do we need to create a staff-like tool out of it? if so: Project NULL
eventually we give it to the disciple of the dead necromancer, to which we still need to bring a well equipped apprentice for a reward. he will understand that the town got attacked and we had to create his apprentice's equipment from scratch. Also - it doubles as an anti magic tool cleaning up anything the apprentice might botch (accidental uncontrollable abominations) add a tutorial for dead magic for the apprentice once we do.

It's a cannon. Also Adjectivificating is complete bullshit on live enemies. And we already used up the nugget adding it to our halfstaff.

You Should add the NULL staff to the Projects table.

You might also want to go through our lists of minion and spell ideas and comment on tactical usages?

The disciple of the dead necromancer we promised to apprentice is the same person as Harkim, we've already given him decent equipment, including a great telescope for channeling.

You point your staff at the cannon and add the molten Adjective to it, causing it to sag over and fall apart. -10 Mana

The bandit is finally absorbed, Ash remains. +10 Health, +6 Mana

If your assumptions are correct. The only bandits not a zombie here now are the Eleet.

Galarn't uses Tap Cannon. Putting his sword under his arms, and holding both palms out.

After a very short period, A blast of energy emits from his palms, Killing the Eleet bandits. -20 Elbow Grease

All that remains is to open the door, and end this.

... Ok, so we need to get Valeric past the throne room and down the tunnel after it unnoticed to do the summoning ritual for the volcano thing I came up with. Before next turn I thing we need to ask Jeanne if doing that mostly alone crawling in through that canon-hole and over the ceiling in shadows and the like is feasible, or if we need to use the main body of our troops as a distraction to slip past.

... does the castle count as a dungeon? if so: storm the throne room.
Otherwise absorb the blood from the ground/the freshly killed to replenish mana(boil blood - deep quaff), then pick up a piece of stone and use Earth Pains to dig down using strong mana.(rubble from the hole) and continue with armok's plan that will likely destroy the castle we wanted to take back :)
