She held up a hand, and electricity crackled from the thumb across her fingers before sparking across her palm and fading.

"We've got enough to worry about without you trying to murder people."

"Anyway, Mason. Got another escape plan up your sleeve?"

Asher Sangrey was very confused. The last thing he remembered he had been hired as an independent contractor for waygate explorations and now suddenly he was locked in a cell with a bunch of people he didn't know, but apparently knew each other.

And people called me crazy... he thought to himself after the short time he'd spent with them.

"Um, who might you people be?"

[SeriousConcentrate]

"Lilly. I'm from a long line of magically-talented nobles in Alberal."

She walked over to the doors and tapped on one with the back of her hand.

"Speaking of, how well reinforced are these doors? Do you think I could blast them down?"

[Solymr]

Lilly plinked the door. It sounded like a door.

: Uhhhhh... No idea. I have no idea how I got here or what is out there. I haven't heard anything from outside either.

Mason then realized that guy was a total stranger.

: I'm Mason. Just Mason.

[Sirus]

: "Fine, I won't make any more threats. Now how about you stop and think before blasting down a door, thereby bringing every guard in this place to us?"

[Haspen]

"I was so close..."

"Speaks about murder the one who just threatened to hurt someone." She turned to the unknown man.

"Terminally coughing thief, cuckoolander pirate, a traitor to her country, crazy singing wench, random magical villager, whyvern siblings, cute healer boy, professional swordwoman, and Alberal commander of some reputation with dark and edgy past... oh and this guy." Laura nodded at Mason whilst others were simply pointed at.

"All three of you, please. We can't fight now. Kyle, stop that for now. If we are to get out we need everyone in top condition. Lilly, please don't use magic this second. They likely have guards and you would risk hitting one of us with how cramped this cell is. I know it hasn't been my strength lately but we need to work together and work smart to get out of this."

Catherine then proceeds to check her bag to see if her tomes are still present. She doubted it, but may as well check.

[SeriousConcentrate]

"Oh, right, because being a snide bitch to me at every opportunity gives you the moral high ground, right Laura? I forgot about that."

Lilly turned away from the doors.

"Fine, but do any of you have a better idea?"

[Solymr]

Catherine then proceeds to check her bag to see if her tomes are still present. She doubted it, but may as well check.

No such luck. No one in the cell had their equipment.

: Uh, what exactly happened after we separated?

[Haspen]

"At least I don't bang people and then play their feelings to have my way done." One of them was going to stop but that wasn't Laura.

"We've got to the desert, then to the underground magical city, then Lily got kidnapped, then we lost some artifact to the masked man, then we made our way to Alberal and got ourselves captured."

[Sirus]

: "We were chased across much of the continent, ran smack into the middle of a war, and some creep in a mask is causing mischief. All in all I've had better times."

"I said stop and I meant it. You two attacking each other will do nothing. I don't care if you hate each other, you will treat each other well while we're working together! As for ideas, let's see if there are any weak spots in the walls or something Harlan could use to open the door. It seems unlikely but they missed something last time so."
