Catherine quickly runs over and picks him up.
"C'mon, I'm taking you to the other healer..."

"Whatwashisname Albert!"

Of course, Twin is neither man nor woman but an unholy eldritch abomination like every other Bay12er. The difference is they hide it better.

Senija, unfortunately, was a little out of sorts, a first attempt at getting up aborted by the trembles in the building that sent her crashing back down, and she was rather focused on getting back to her feet, gripping onto Albert the second time around to help herself out.

Laura brushed the dust and rubble pieces from her armor and then helped others stand up.

"Harold and the Lady hopefully got out... Good. We surrender. No need to destroy the building any further."

Albert stumbled as the assault happened, slamming his shoulder against the wall, and then having Senija grip onto him gave him little time to fix his shoulder, as he pulled her up, only to turn to look at Catherine, holding Lamden's body.
"S-Senija! Come on! Get up, I need to heal Lamden!" Albert groaned as he tugged her up, making sure that she wouldn't fall over before he started to tug himself out of her grip, moving over and healing Lamden.

: "Sure, let's surrender. If we're lucky we'll be thrown back into Strohnban to rot. More likely, they'll execute us as soon as possible."

: Did I hear a surrender? Then come out with your hands free of any weapon. Don't try anything stupid and I will make sure you're taken as prisoners of war.

"It appears to be a situation of certain death here or imprisonment and possible death elsewhere. It's the logical decision."

Lilly picked herself up from the floor, coughing up dust as she went.

"I am NOT surrendering! I would rather die than go back to Strohnban!"

She turned toward the entrance.

"I am not going to sit back and be captured and useless again. If they want me, they're going to have take me down by force."

Tomik winced at Lilly's declaration. She would rather die than go back to prison. But he couldn't see that. He wouldn't let it. He hesitated then sighed, remembering their argument earlier. Perhaps... It was worth a shot at least, even if it hurt to say.

"Lilly... I know... I know how you feel. But... if we do this, not only do we survive but... They'll likely put us with Kyle. I know you wanted to save him. If we're all together... maybe we can escape. And that would let us take him with us when we did. Everyone gets out. I... I promise I will do whatever is in my power to get everyone, including Kyle, out of this. Because... because it would kill me to see you die. More than it's already been killing me to see you hurting and upset. And I've been a fool but I can't... Please don't do this."

Lilly turned to Tomik. A second later, a sharp slap rang out through the ruins of the temple.

"Don't you DARE take that tone with me."

Folding her arms tightly over her chest, Lilly turned her back to him.

"I'm only backing down for everyone's sake. I'm not going to make anyone feel obligated to fight with me."

"So maybe we should then go your way to make you happy Lily? Go down in glorious battle to the end to appease the big child?"

"This will be the day..." Laura hurriedly stepped toward the entrance, dropping her weapons in the process.

"General! These people are surrendering! I advise bringing armed escorts, though!"

Lilly walked up behind Laura.

"If anyone is a child here, Laura, it is you. I'm doing something I would rather die than do, for the sake of everyone else on the team. And what are you doing, except insulting me under your breath?"

Laura seized Lily by her wrist, knowing very well that the twig-built girl had no chance at resisting the pull of a (much) stronger hand, and dragged her toward the entrance.

"And I've got one of them right here!"

Lilly rolled her eyes.

"Thanks for proving my point. I guess I shouldn't have expected anything better from someone from the Ixion military."
