Alright, so who would be interested in a Pathfinder game beetween 2-5PM GMT+2 on Sundays? The game would probably last two hours.
The game would probably be composed of 4 players and 1 GM. Right now the one we would need the most is a GM.

Pathfinder is free, so if you never played it you can find the information you need here http://www.d20pfsrd.com/basics-ability-scores/getting-started and with some help you should be able to be a player. We would need a somewhat experienced GM though.

I might be able to throw together a dungeon crawl. I can't say anything about how good  it'll be (read: how likely everything is to keel over in one hit/ wreck the party effortlessly) and I'll have to see how much time I can get away with to prepare it but I think I could manage a small one.

I'm a bit rusty on pathfinder so that could be a problem, nor have I ever GM'ed except for one heavily railroaded sidequest thing I did for andrea. and a few others (which lasted for like 1/2 an hour before my internet cut- I was so mad) but if you're cool with that then I'll try to run a game.

I think I'll take 4 at most, text chat is very slow and games bog down fast (I've been in 2 text based campaigns and one voice chat campaign, the difference is really noticeable).

Yeah I remember the 'brb dinner' every session around that time, I'll try to start after that.

One-half session of GMing isn't substantially more experience than no sessions :P

I'd feel bad about ignoring the guys that wanted in first so I'd like to wait for them (rabidgam3r, sebcool) to confirm if they can handle the time or not (tentatively 2PM UTC+0 Sunday, if andrea converted dinnertime to GMT+2) before accepting anyone else. I really don't think 2 hours is enough to do anything substantial, I'll say three hours might be enough to do a small bit (text chat is reaaaaaaly slow) but nothing amazing especially with newbies in the party.

3 pm on sunday (GMT+2) I am coming back from lunch, actually :P

true, need to see what the other interesdted  people think about the time, and you have a point about session length. We used to be sooo slow during the old campaigns. Although a smaller part should help with that.

About text chat being slower I gotta disagree: I often find voice chat being more chaotic because of everyone trying to speak at once and not being able to organize theirselves until the GM tells everyone to be quiet. If you are a fast typer (Like I am) it can often be faster. Besides, its way better for roleplaying.

I dont know much about Maptool, but they seem to have similar features.

Also, im gonna reuse a char from other campaign. I wanted to try a Summoner, but I figured I would use one which I already know to reduce some burden from Carn.

there's this thing called microphone etiquette, where it's not polite to talk over other people (I hear it's like that in real life too). If the GM can enforce a 'please keep talking down when it isn't your turn' rule then it does speed things up a deal. Not everyone is a fast typer (myself included, because I use my index fingers for mostly everything). Personally I don't mind using text in this case, since I'm not too confident in my ability and I'm afraid it'll show.

I agree that text is better for RP.

E2: From what I've heard, maptools is a little more finicky to set up and GM for, but is more flexible in what you can do with macros.

Summoner

Last time we had a summoner, it did more damage than the rest of the party combined. If decently optimized, their power level is incredible.

edit: speaking about that however... we all should start thinking about characters. I had casters as the next thing to try, but seeing as we are trying to keep things simple, I will try to get something that has less options than the enormous spell lists of sorcerers, wizards, clerics and druids. Bard , maybe.

Summoner

´´Theres a certain charm to an Eidolon with five heads and the Swallow Whole ability´´
Umbral Sorcerers are also very powerful if played correctly, though.

My character is already made. Ill only need to reroll ability scores and such which Ill do when the game is up in Roll20.
Just a tip: Illusions (Which Umbral Sorcerers are very good at) work good with a fighter or an archer.

yes, but I already played a fighter once. While my number of characters is below 5, I'd like to try something new for every campaign.
Although maybe I can cook up some magic based fighter equivalent...

or barbarian. That is also good in the raw damage field.
