((Don't like nagging, but just wanting to ask; do you want me going at a slower pace, Hugo, or are you just getting distracted/are we dealing with time shenanigans right now?))

(I'm just getting distracted. Sorry about that.)
"Figures. So, uhhh...shit."

Rolep pokes one of the skeletons with his sword, always making sure to keep a good distance from the footsteps. If it doesn't do anything, he tries to pry off a skull to throw at it.

If nothing else, he wanted to make sure his sword wouldn't fall apart if he hit the thing with it.
The skeleton makes no response, but with the skull at the back of the alcove, a leg bone is easier to reach. On passing through the area above the footsteps, there is a BRZZT! and a shower of sparks as the thrown tibia is propelled sideways. It lands amongst the dust, smoking slightly.

Second window? I just broke one window
"Yeah, I mean, I guess. I just don't want to set off a car alarm."
"What are the odds of anything still having juice."

HugoLuman sighed, and put the back of his hatchet through the glass on the driver's side door. Relying on the sleeve of his coat to protect his arm from sharp glass, he reached through and unlocked the door.
Iton being near the car and hearing the words "bash" and "window" he decides to take his crow bar and break the window with a full forced swing

So how is everyone feeling right now?
"Happy to be alive, I guess. I think we've gotten some good stuff from all the crap we've been through in the past few hours, and I'm glad my crazy idea here kinda worked."
"So... while we're at this intersection again, we gonna get out and take another whack at the clues to open the vault? Or should we just make a right and get back to the bank already?"

My vote goes to getting out of here and to the bank.

"Fuck. Don't even know what would happen if my sword hit it. Don't like this at all."

Throw some more bones at it. Harder, this time. See if I can get a whole bunch of toe bones and foot bones to throw all at once. Use one of the veils if I can to do so. Can't tell if it's a ghost or what, but if it is, I'll either anger it into moving faster or disturb it's ability to remain tethered by fucking with the corpses.

Try to figure out whether the footsteps are faster or slower than they were before I threw the bones.

"That... doesn't sound safe. Besides, a pickaxe didn't even scratch it. We'd probably need something beefier than a delivery van."

"Actually Hugo, we have all that we need in the city. I have most of what would be needed in my bag. Excluding a few moving parts. I have a few things I intend to build once I get the supplies. Be nice if I could find an industrial forge or a blacksmith though, would speed up a number of planned projects considerably. Actually. GlaDOS. Did your set of rooms have a mechanical forge present? That would help."

"You could look."

"What I meant was, we don't have the stuff to do that right now. Especially not the dump truck."

Tech pokes at Hugo,"Crashing into a vault doesn't sound very safe. hehe."
