Normally, this is when I'd call shotgun. However, a. I don't have a shotgun and b. it looks like passenger seat is taken by the generator. I'll drive. So, where to?

Also you mean something like Woolworths, right?

"Rule number one of driving in a post apocalyptic city. Make sure that all windows and doors are closed and locked."

"I don't know, I haven't really been...ever, uh, been out of the state." Tech shrugged her shoulders, then remembering Quasar was situated on one, smiled apologetically. "I nominate Kevak to drive, I guess."

((I'm really not sure how to handle KeyJay freaking out, none of our group seem to be present and I have no idea where in the dome Zan even is.))

(Zanz is in some place on the hillside above the dungeon entrance.)

"Yeah, I suppose GR should keep his gun handy. And I guess we could stick the spear out one of the windows to discourage boarders, and have some of us standing behind the seat ready to help, but as long as it's just cats, the inside of the car should be pretty safe."
HugoLuman and Quasar begin communicating with every nearby cat they can see: Hey, can you spread the word that there may be a car coming through shortly?

Cal attempts to claw at Quasar's feathers while he's preoccupied— fortunately for him, he's out of the kitten's reach.

(I'll get us out of here once I get back from a hike. As for Kyle, you might have to wait on him.)

Cat, do you want to see a pencil disappear? No, you don't.
Dude, that's a bit much.

Cal mewls, stretching the small pads on his paw as it reaches for Quasar. He's of no harm at a distance, but is persistent.

"Did you all completely ignore what I said? Keep all windows and doors closed and locked. The easiest way to discourage boarders is not let them in."
"Which would be fine, except I broke in through one window, and Iton up and smashed the other for some reason."

After letting the car charge for a few more minutes, they started it up and set off at a cautious pace, relying on their vigilance and remaining shards of glass to ward off boarders. HugoLuman and Quasar stayed near the front, doing their best to get all the little cats to move out the way, which they seemed perfectly happy to comply with as the van came rolling through. The group was able to retrace their steps fairly well, following along the side of the warehouses until the spotted the antiques store they'd broken into (with all the pillows still piled outside), and so they took the street pointed away from the warehouses. The other cars lying on the road were spaced enough to weave past, and though a couple times they saw a big cat, neither of them seemed to want trouble with the moving vehicle. Soon they once more reached the intersection with the mysterious graffiti clues.

Rolep moved forward and to one side, to try and test if the apparition was truly following him. And, if he got just a bit closer like that, he could get some dust into the air to try and coat it or disorient it that way as a preliminary tactic. Hopefully, anyway.
Getting closer, it seemed like the footprints were headed towards him, albeit slowly. On blowing a handful of dust at it, he sees bits of dust crackle and spark on striking something above the footprints.
