Getting closer, it seemed like the footprints were headed towards him, albeit slowly. On blowing a handful of dust at it, he sees bits of dust crackle and spark on striking something above the footprints.
"Well that's just great. Let's see..."

Figuring that if this thing was around, there probably weren't traps, he lets it come towards him until it's about six feet away, backing slowly, then turning to let it follow him as he heads towards the exit door on the other side of the room, a bit more swiftly, to allow himself time to test the door.

"..Why did you two break the windows? You do realize that it's possible to jimmy the lock on the back and open the delivery doors right? That was just plain stupid."

(set before the drive?)
"Well, you could have mentioned that before! And jimmy with what?" HugoLuman sighs. "Nevermind. What's done is done."

Rolepgeek is able to outmaneuver the invisible thing and makes it to the door on the North side of the room, indeed stepping in no traps on the way. Unfortunately, he finds the door locked.

"Figures. So, uhhh...shit."

Rolep pokes one of the skeletons with his sword, always making sure to keep a good distance from the footsteps. If it doesn't do anything, he tries to pry off a skull to throw at it.

If nothing else, he wanted to make sure his sword wouldn't fall apart if he hit the thing with it.

"You could have waited for me to get outside before breaking shit."

"And Iton. Why the fuck did you break the second window?"

"Well, it's done now. Nothing we can do to fix it. And it's not like we've got a slimjim, though finding one would help with looting."

"We should start moving, the sooner we get to the town the better." Armach starts to walk towards the town.

As they picked their way through the woods, they began to notice bits of rubble scattered about, and the occasional damage in to the trees above large pieces. The rubble seemed to get more frequent the closer they got. Eventually, they emerged from the trees at the town's wall, though there was no entrance in sight. Kyle and Propman knew that they'd find one if they just followed the wall, though. Most of the smoke seemed to be gone by now.
