"I believe some nobles would still support him even if everything was exposed, but they would not be enough for him to try to take Galgados. Most nobles actually dislike Frederick, but they dislike Karlson and me even more. However they consider themselves loyal to the Empire, and they would not like helping a traitor."
"As for the mysterious cloaked men... I think I know who might be sending them. One of them used a gun. But not a matchlock gun like the ones that can be bought in some places, albeit at quite high prices. The design was more sophisticated. And I know only of one person with the knowledge and resources to make weapons like that."
"Interesting fact, he shares your surname."

"... I see. Interesting. Well, that would be useful, I suppose. And it would fit. Most of the reason I'm in the Order is because my parents wanted to demonstrate that our family was loyal to the Empire. I think... Well, I want to find out more about this situation before I go making any decisions. Tomorrow night should help sort things out though."

[Khaiel]

"Yes, tomorrow night will be important. But now let's concentrate on the task at hand. I need you to stand still. I might have some clothes that fit you, but I believe we will mainly need to make new ones."

At this point Marina starts to talk to her servants, trying to figure out how feasible would be to have a new dress made for the next day. One thing is clear, there is a lot of work to do. Even if that work involves just standing up for several hours.

[Swordstar]

"Oh. Right. Sorry. Also, one of my knights, Saresh, will be accompanying me as my escort. If it is possible to get him some nicer clothes as well, I would be much obliged."

[Khaiel]

"We could try to do something for him. Leave it to me. I might have something useful for that..."

[Swordstar]

"Good, good."

After that, she did her best to stand still while she was being measured.

[Ochita]

Sal cleared his throat, before giving a nonchalant shrug, before sitting down near Klasha.
: "I try."
: "Really though, I'm not a knight. Just some bodyguard. Salvadore, Sal to friends. Wanted to see how you were doing after that guy had a fit for no good reason."

[GiglameshDespair]

One of them being friendly? This was unexpected. And one of them to check up on her...

"Huh. Cheers, even if it did end up unnecessary. I've had ta take care o' myself plenny."
She waved at the bartender for drinks, both for her and Salvador.
"On me. Anyway, if ya didn't get my name, It's Klasha. Just Klasha." At the mention of Saresh, she waved a hand dismissively. "Eh, just nobles bein' nobles. Me and them don't tenda get along very well."

[Ochita]

Sal shrugged, and took a swig from his drink.
: "Well, he clearly only saw what he wanted to see. Which, to me is an absolute shame."
Sal looked at his drink, and raised it as if in a toast, his smile now hidden behind his mug, albeit fainter than before.
: "To stuck-up nobles and to shared enemies."

[GiglameshDespair]

"May someone give 'em a good hidin'." She clanked her mug against his in a toast before taking another gulp, the strong booze having seemingly no effect.
"So if you ain't a knight, why'd you join the order? I've merc'd a bit, and there always plenty of jobs goin' round."

[Ochita]

Salvadore gave a dismissive shrug, and took a gulp of his own drink.
: "A friend of mine asked me to help out and guard that woman, Marina. I owed him a lot, so I pretty much had to. I guess that until whatever threat against her is gone, I'll be guarding her as a 'knight'" Sal spoke the last words with some mirth, and took another swig of his drink.

[GiglameshDespair]

"Heh heh. I thought you looked like a noble defender of the ladies. Obviously I'll hafta stick close to you in battle so you can protect delicate li'l me."

[Ochita]

: "Heh. You said you could take care of yourself, if I stuck by I bet I'd just barely keep up."

[GiglameshDespair]

"Well, maybe I'll protect you, then." She smiled. "Tell ya what, we could make it into a competition. In our next battle, we'll see who kicks more ass."

[Ochita]

Sal chuckled, raised his glass, and drank the rest of his drink, and then stood up.
: "Then may the best fighter win. We should probably get back, unless we want the knights chiding us." Sal gave a sigh, though he kept on smiling.
