Go to the Armory and purchase:

Then go back to the hangar and stand in front of the following shuttle:
>Five: LINE 14 HKJ INDIGO QUIET
Quite a pack you got there. May have to increase costs or decrease starting cash. We will see.

Anyhoo, consider yourself loaded up and sitting on board shuttle Indigo Quiet. It, like all 5's, is a heavy angular ship with lots of internal room and pilot chairs that are just a bit wrong for a normal human shape. Doesn't really matter though, the ship flies itself once you press the start button, and it will fly itself back if you can hit it again. Assuming it doesn't fly you into a star. You've heard that happens occasionally.

Last action is to get in a ship eh? Well, if you're out you don't pay the tax.

Subtract em, add weight to the sheet, and head on out.

Okie dokie.

So Shuttle Indigo Quiet has 3 people and we've got two freelancers without a ship.

Sword, you're captain so you choose when to hit the go button.

((To be fair, I bought a lot of cheap things, and had the maximum starting cash possible. :P))

"We'll wait a few more minutes to fill up those last two seats, then we're off." Ben says, as much to himself as to the other two Freelancers.

"Alright, that's long enough. Time to go."
Acquire NPC teammate? Regardless, buckle up and press the start button.

You make sure your newly formed crew is inside and then hit the start button. The Shuttle's rear doors hiss shut as you all find your seats, and there's an odd feeling as the artificial gravity of Crossroads cuts away, the shuttle being transported out of the dense asteroid core by an automated system over a millennia old. You all strain against your harnesses, zero-g threatening to float you up into the ceiling or spin you back across the cabin as the ship moves towards some unknown destination. There are no windows in the ship, no cameras which function while it is in motion, only a semi-cryptic display panel in which flicker the readings of the outside environment. The ship moves, the acceleration just barely perceptible, for about an hour before it stops. The instant it stops you drop back down in your seat, suddenly under the influence of gravity. The hum, which began immediately after you pressed the start button, cuts out with a metallic chirp and there is a palpable sensation of the ship settling down against something. The display panel continues to blink and flicker.

Check display panel for an "open door" button, as well as camera feeds now that the ship has stopped. And atmosphere readings, those are important.

"Hey, if any of you know how to work these things, feel free to help me. I'm looking for cameras, atmosphere, and lastly the 'open door' button."

Remember to repost that sheet of yours. In this case your flaw of being distracted dropped a 6 to a 5. Some good luck on your part.

You look at the display panel. These symbols here are the same as they were back on Crossroads, so you're pretty sure the environment is survivable.  You hit a button and it brings up a camera view from outside. Outside is a flat plane of metal, smooth and utterly lacking in machining marks or obvious points where sections were joined; it looks like you've landed on a metal ball bearing. But, judging from the clouds overhead, you're gonna guess that the ship just touched down on Minos somewhere. Lucky, all things considered.

You press the door release and the reach hatch opens, letting in a gust of chilly, vaguely salty air. From the open doors you can see exactly one landmark amidst the vast empty space: what looks like a metal box rising out of the plane about a quarter mile away.

((So could I have done that without a roll because of Techie perk, PW?))

"So I guess that box thing would be a good place to start, right?"
Carefully step outside the shuttle, write an override program on my data pad that would allow me to remotely control compatible technology once I have connected to it once with the adapter kit.
