Vex look at the data then start setting up the sensor [Point A at the planet and c,d at two closer moon and set the last one to sweep for the next wormhole/jump point] (I assume we are in a stable orbit) Then say "Damn this piece of drifting hunka junk, even the nav comp dont work properly. Mat would never let anything like this happen." Then he start talking into the radio R:-" So guys We are in O-I 676 e, orbiting the inner most planet, am setting the sensor to look for useful info while sweeping for out next checkpoint."

((also sleeping will net us good wine hopefully :P))

((Your instructions make no sense, unless I am missing something. You just have to assign the ship to specific tasks. Your modules are only capable, currently, of performing those tasks. You can look around if you think there is more the ship can do.

Also, you might want to disregard the above map. I have to make some changes to the program I am using for the nav maps. More on this tomorrow, since I was WAY too tired when I wrote that.

Specifically, I need to implement hill spheres!))

((EDIT: assign sensor points. You have 20.

More options will be available... Soon))

((-Scan Omicron Illiad 676 a (0/15) +5
-Scan Omicron Illiad 676 b (0/12) +4
-Scan Omicron Illiad 676 c (0/9) +3
-Scan Omicron Illiad 676 d (0/6) +2
-Construct Navigational Map of System (0/3) +6
Will the extra point go somewhere or will there be lost? is there like auto assign unused sensor option? if not can someone add a script to do that?))

Keep looking around the ship for any structural anomalies. It is not my place to be navigating the ship.

So here's what's going on:
The program I am using to render the nav maps is a space sim that I'm working on. The game itself is in active WIP, but it's currently in a sate where it can at least generate convincing maps of systems, minus some stuff (like asteroid belts). I will keep a copy of the project around in order to always have a way of viewing the original map, but since it's not complete there may be some kinks (like 60,000 K red giants... a bug I recently fixed).

I'm currently working on a means of exporting data for easier chart-making.

Roll 7 - Priorities, priorities...

While grapes are fermenting start making mead with the honey!

While humming various brands of power metal in your head--those memories are perfectly intact, of course--you look around for the beehive. Having no beekeeping skill yourself, you search not for ways to gather honey, but where the honey has gone if the bees have been active this entire time.

[Luck: 6-2] You locate some hallways leading directly into a warehouse-like storage facility. It seems to be loading supplies into airtight crafts to be sent down via elevator. However, you find a location where various food supplies, including honey, are packaged prior to storage! You grab a bottle of honey and proceed to look for something like a kitchen, which you readily find in the surrounding halls, next to some bedrooms and... a pub.

You set some wine and mead containers in the kitchen. The mead should be done in at least two months... that is a really long time to wait.

Fashion two poles about .75 and half of a meter long out of the rod stock,  one to be used as a weapon (just in case) and the shorter one to try and whack open one of the bins. Before the whacking, look for a key to unlock the bins.

[Manufacture Beating Stick: 6] Before you set out to cut the rods, you look for a key, and there are none to be found in the room. You proceed to build the rods, then make your way to the storeroom to find that none of the bins even have a lock...

You open one, finding cylinders containing all sorts of nasty chemicals such as acids and chemical solutions.

Look for any entertainment and/or exercise facilities. Curse the engineers is none are found.

Our hero curses the designers of this vessel for not including amenities, but little does he know, leaping around in free-fall is very fun indeed.

[3-1] There are none of such facilities to be found on this level. However, there is an elevator, leading up to something that you haven't explored. There is also the hatch from before.

The navigation console is currently very buggy. Either its resources are being taken up in calculation, or its hardware is sorely inadequate to run the software it is using.

You'll have to wait on it. However, the dashboard allows you to browse through some info collected by the sensors already:

Omicron Illiad 676 e - Current Designation: Ares

-Iron-Oxide dust present in atmosphere
-Surface obscured by dusty clouds

Ares II -- Icy Moon

Surface Temperature: 205 K (-68°C)
Atmosphere (Surface Pressure: 6 micro-bar):
-91% Water Vapor
-5% Nitrogen
-4% Methane
Notable Characteristics:
-Cryovolcanism

Ares III -- Rocky Moon
Mass : 0.0109 Earth Masses
Surface Temperature: 205 K (-68°C)

Notable Characteristics:
-Large impact marks

Ares IV -- Rocky Moon
Mass : 0.0255 Earth Masses
Surface Temperature: 215 K (-58°C)
Atmosphere: none
Notable Characteristics:
-Volcanic Activity

The ship is currently in the orbit of Ares IV, but not around the moon. The ship failed to rendezvous with the moon on its approach.

Zaynab will busy herself by looking to see if the captain has a journal of some sort.

[Luck: 1] Search you might, but any paper that has existed in the past is now nothing but dust. It seems that the computer wasn't working either, and so he couldn't have recorded anything on it.

Keep looking around the ship for any structural anomalies. It is not my place to be navigating the ship.

[Inspect: 6] You walk a circle around the ring, keeping an eye out for any structural weaknesses. You find one--directly beneath your feet.

One of the water pipes in the ceiling seems to have sprung a leak, albeit a very tiny one. The result was a thin mist of water slowly running, and accumulating at the bottom of the curved floor segment below the grated panels that make up the walkways; the grates themselves are situated about a meter over the true floor of the ring cabin, and have a series of braces and locks at the edges that allow them to be adjusted, or so it seems. Perhaps the entire grav-ring changes orientation when the ship thrusts, so as to not launch furniture across the room?

Anyway, the problem you discovered is that the mist of water also caused the grate below to rust, weakening its joints that connect it to the sides of the tunnel. As you apply your weight over it, the grate collapses into the crawlspace below the grates. You fall about a meter down, [1] but roll over into the pool of stagnant water below, hitting your arm on a pressure gaugue on one of the pipes along the edge of the crawlspace as you go below the water level. You surface and check to see if you are bleeding and, sure enough, the edge of the dial left a 10cm long cut down your forearm, and you are sitting in a meter-deep pool of stagnant water from who-knows-how-long ago.

((well i guess we are not using any fuel as we are in a stable orbit))
Vex set the ship to lower the orbit so we can extract some H2 for propellent from the gas giant. Then he start draging the body to hydroponic/diposal and dump it.

Dammit, Katelyn, she thought to herself as she gingerly touched the skin around the cut. You know not to step on possibly structurally unsound objects!

She picked up her radio and set it to the ship-wide net.

"This is K. Materos. I've found a minor leak in the water pipes around the ring. It's nothing to prioritize, but one of the grates fell and I got myself cut in stagnant water. Any of you have medical ability?"

Wipe myself off, climb out of the crawlspace, and head up to the main deck. Look for someone who can perform medical treatment and get myself patched up and my wound cleaned. I'll come back to the leak later.

((Making wine takes about six months, usually, unless you have superhuman wine-making skills.))

[1] You hear nothing out of your radio but a fizzle. Looks like it's not waterproof.
