Nope, you can start with herbs. It's simply that they'll be weak Lv.1 herbs, and it will b entirely random which ones you get.

Also, Pariah had a question if 'monkey grip' aka holding 2-handers in 1 hand is a thing. And it is. You have to have at least double the STR requirement for this, though.

Will the sword breaker dagger I chose have increased ability to disarm people, and will my flail have increased ability to get past blocks? Because those are the main advantages of these weapons.
