((Kinda nice having it out, maybe if it's whispering between a few of them spoilers would be appropriate?))

Put the slime thing into the keyhole for laughs.

((Plot-important thigns should be visible. If it's for comedy, e.g. lampshading something as we see here, then I'd say spoilering is fine.))

The keyhole is large enough to fit through, at least for the dragon if nobody else. Send someone in to scout. If the height of the keyhole is a problem, show some teamwork and give a boost.

You fly up to the keyhole, It is filled with sharp needles, likely to deter people just going through the keyhole itself.

Prodding one of the needles with your dagger, it proves to be flexible. but triggers a mechanism, more needles appear in the hole.

You consider having Rick shine-shape a key to seal it, but then you remember that you are trying to open this thing, and refrain from making a fool of yourself.

You update your map, feeling foolish that you forgot to do so before.

Richards favor has changed, but nothing seems to happen.

Have Richard Shine-Shape a device to open that door in a safe-yet-fast manner!

Send the magic gelly through the keyhole. It probably won't even notice a few needles going through it.

Richard informs you that a magically sharpened sword that cuts atoms casually barely harms a gelly, much less needles in a hundred year old trap, you fling the gelly skyward into the lock and it blurbles back what it saw.

Needles erupt in the hole like before, you believe that the key likely stops specific ones in order to open the door.

Unfortunately, it is too dark for the gelly to give an accurate depiction, there is a large white thing, and a large orange thing in the room.

"Err, so are we going to try and find the key to this thing? There was another entryway in the room just behind us. Don't get me wrong, I guess we could sit around here and keep trying to figure out what's in there without actually going in."

Necromantic power flows through the air, it is almost nighttime.

Richard Summons a Battering ram, and everyone uses the super power of teamwork on that door.

The door budges slightly, but you hear/feel the slime fall into the mechanism.

You have lost a follower.

your zombie watchmen inform you that a massive Ogre plowed through them and is heading directly for your location, having heard the ruckus.

The door shudders from your abuse, And a large mechanical arm appears from the keyhole, Multiple enchanted weapons make up it's fingers, a -very- large glowing crystal is in it's palm, but a force field surrounds it. Likely a failsafe against this exact thing. the door is ever so slightly ajar, But it would need much more abuse to open.

It is now nighttime.

Prepare to tell the ogre that it's boss is trapped behind the door and we need it's help.
Continue to abuse the door, telling it that it's an official emergency and we need to get through.

Also, ask the door for our slime back.
