You stab the Kris into the wall, right next to the hole left from the knife, and leave it there. You then go to wake Cain.
"Hey, Cain, get up!
"Knoton, I swear to god, if this is because you had a nightmare or something, you're not going to be seeing tomorrow."
"That could be problematic, because that's kind of exactly why I woke you up. Except I think it might be important."
"Well, you probably won't let me fall asleep until you're done talking to me, so I might as well listen."
You tell him about the dream. He seems mildly disturbed. Or really tired. Probably both.
"Well. That's certainly a little terrifying. I'd like to have my own dreams right now, though, so I'm gonna do that now, okay? Okay."

Not entirely sure what to do, and conflicted between stabbing Cain or just going and doing something else, you panic and lick him instead.
"I...Y'know what? I'm not even gonna bother being pissed or grossed out at this point. Now, go do something else so I can actually sleep."
You leave, after briefly considering to start barking and screaming just to spite him, and start trying to manifest more powers. You still have no MP, however.
The Crimson Kris seems to almost dimly glow with power, and you find yourself reaching out to grab it, t stop yourself before you actually manage it. There's something off about the dagger...

You grab your stash of coffee, and drink some of it. You feel energized, and more so than usual. [+1 MP] It's not a large gain, but it's definitely something. You try again to summon coffee, and this time, it actually works!

Summon Coffee realized!

A small vial of coffee appears in the air. You drink it, and once more feel energized. [+1 MP] The vial disappears after you drink it. The only problem with this spell is that it produces exactly as much MP as it costs. You mutter a few curses in several different languages.
Having finished that, you decide to drag yourself off to your sleeping bag once more and try to sleep. The coffee certainly hindered the endeavor, but you do eventually manage it.


You wake up to the ungodly screeching of an alarm clock, and for about two seconds, you begin getting ready to go to work before dimly realizing that no, you don't have to go to work any more. In fact, you can't go to work anymore, because you're pretty sure Wendy's is no longer a thing.
Cain seems to somehow be managing to sleep through the unholy cacophony of the alarm clock.
The good news is you seem to have replenished all of your MP, as well as a bit of HP.
