I feel like the part outside the spoiler kinda... spoils it?
I don't think so? But I moved it inside anyway.

I’m waiting for stutter mcstuts to hurry up and drop the ball about his own demon.

Pretty big revelations on the Surin's past in Vattu

I wonder just how old the Weightless One is. I think they've said that what happened was before their time, not sure. I guess he/she (the character is supposed to be genderless) is talking to Junti because she is less indoctrinated into the dogma and is more likely to believe what they say. Or maybe it's because she doesn't know yet, while the others know.

Faye continues to be me
Though I got Earth magic a bit earlier, and I haven't gone straightedge.  Yet.  Maybe if I was more on the hetero-side.

The asking awkward questions part, though...  Pretty real.

That last comic actually raises a really interesting question: If homosexuality is carried by genes, wouldn't identical twins always have the same or at least similar sexuality?

If not (as I assume to be the case) it suggests that there are environmental factors at work, which also would support the hypothesis that homosexuality is in some manner related to overpopulation.

In other news, I'm partway through reading Kiwi Blitz and it's pretty gud (although Sleepless Domain is better, imo). I'm taking a break after the part where Blitz fights the *cough* furries *cough* near the docks, and I'm wondering how far I really am into this - the comics are still from 2015 but with webcomics that doesn't always mean anything.

I think that is about a quarter of the way through. Check the URL of the current and most recent pages. Most recent is, I think, 582, you are probably somewhere below 450? I think it is safe to say that they are still basically on the same story-arc? S rescue mission?

You could have at least googled twin studies on the matter, and they show a strong correlation. For example, one study found a 66% correlation between identical twins and sexuality vs only a 30% correlation between non-identical twins. It's important to compare twins-to-twins here, because twins shared a womb so you can't rule out pre-natal effects that affected both fetuses. That's why the emphasis is on identical twins vs non-identical twins. However, there are also possible social effects, in that identical twins are treated more similarly than non-identical children, so the social environment for them can be much more similar. Just a couple of reasons why twin studies need to be taken with a grain of salt.

for pre-natal effects, one known example is a thing called the "fraternal birth order effect". For a particular woman, each successive biological male child is more likely to be gay than the previous one. Having more step-brothers doesn't affect it, and it's no different if the boys are raised together or separately. So, the effect is clearly biological not social, but it's also environmental. Perhaps there's some optimal amount of selection pressure for mates, and this is an evolved compensatory thing, which prevents there being too much competition between brothers.
