-Well...I only have one idea, and it's potentially disastrous. I could fire our side-thrusters - that will probably result in the airlock tube breaking, but may result in it jamming through. Or we could all blow up and die. No, I'm saving it as plan B.

Anton addresses the computer.

-Hey, can we make a welding torch?

Alas, sound does not travel in a vacuum. You are also slightly worried that activating the massive speakers too close to Wasp will damage its electronics and systems.

Fortunately, Wasp is equipped with a functional printer, although its capabilities pale in comparison to Tanker's.

[4] However, you have repair equipment already onboard the craft, including a set of torches and cutters. There is no need to build any for now.

As I am much heavier than a Engineer class I don't get shaken.
*Over the radio* You idiot! Of course we're in vacuum. If we weren't, everyone would have noticed me starting up my speakers!

 - So smartass and badass you are. Ass anyway. Alright, no hard feelings, ok? Let's just wait until we board that ship.

You head to a supply closet and retrieve the tools that the inventory system tells you of. You contact Hamilton to come and retrieve it, so that you can stay inside the ship in case of hostile action.

You come back with the cutting tools... but as you enter the airlock a second time it throws an error, indicating that the room is full of atmosphere. The door slides open upon confirmation, revealing that a crude cutout of an Engineer with large pauldrons has been sliced out of the inner door. The interior of the battleship is visible through the gap.
Upon initial inspection, the ship's design seems very closely related to the design of the Central Navy lab on Ceres--aside from some mass-cutting measures such as replacing floor panels with grates, the colors and appliances are identical. Same air vents, pipelines, air scrubbers mounted on the walls, and so on.

Using your mining laser to cut the door open triggers the battleship's internal alarms. As the atmosphere fills the airlock space, so do the sounds of many sirens blaring. Entering into a rather spacious curved hall with tracks meant for equipment transfer, you notice that both ends of the hall are sealed off with large bulkeads, and the doors leading into the space enclosed by the hall are locked down.

[2+2/8 ~= 3] Your detergent spray solution wipes out the insects on the surface of the plants, but as you turn to keep spraying more plants, more insects emerge from their burrows. In the end, the plants are all still dotted with pests, although their numbers are thinner. You're not sure just how many bugs are down there inside the burrows.

"I could spend time working out the best way to keep the plants and kill the insects, or I could wipe them out and get the new seeds planted. Time is of the essence, if that mission timer means anything, so lets just get new healthy plants growing."
Burn the plants and cleanse the hydroponics unit with whatever chemical cleansing system is installed.

((What is that timer for anyway?))
