In the Opposing Compound
Kyle decided the combat was being handled well enough by his comrades and, on par with recent events, he decided to go chase after the girl rather than stay and fight. He pushed open the archer’s door and heard a whoosh of air as an arrow flew past his head and embedded itself in the door. Looking quickly at the figure sitting in the corner he decided it would probably take a couple of minutes for her to knock and draw another arrow, and she probably wasn’t much of a threat anymore.
He wasn’t wrong about the combat.
Will pulled is dagger free and let off a shot towards the axman which may have only grazed him, but
Joe barreled into the foe, and managed to pin him up against the wall, though not without smacking his shield and dastana against just about every piece of furniture and the walls. The helmed opponent tried to throw Joe off of him, but their strengths were well matched and they just strained against each other.
Clair decided this business with the effectively disarmed mage was over, and walked up to the pallid man and delivered a swift punch right between the eyes. The mage dropped like a rock, the combination of a blow to the head and substantial blood loss proving to be simply too much.
Cromwell drew his right fist back to throw another punch at the swordsman, but this gave him the opportunity he had been waiting for. He rolled Cromwell to the right, where his arm wasn’t supporting him, and leapt off, finally free of the wrestler.
Drifting around Altera
The
dreaming soul was desperate for rarer crystals and burned its recently acquired charge to try to find one. It was suddenly swamped with information, to the point where none of it made sense. Its senses told it a million different things, with more senses providing the information than it knew it had. And then in an instant the sensation was gone. With its charge.
The
wandering spirit had better luck, carefully consuming a single charge to throw objects around itself. It was still in the poorer district of Varisport, and so flurry of random objects it created drew quite the crowd, most keeping a cautious distance between themselves and the strange spirit that had clearly manifested itself in the actions of these otherwise mundane items. It even found a glove on the ground that it used to make crude gestures towards the Mages Guild, much to the amusement of the crowd.
