What techs do you have, UR, and how much do you want for them?

- Swarm AI: A distributed Automated Flight System that can easily manage large amounts of simple units, and becomes more capable if more systems are added. (UR only)

I have that. And it is expensive because that comes from my specialty and by giving the sources away I make it very much more hackable.
You need to make a very generous offer for me to accept.
______________
One workable deal I can offer:

You provide me blueprints of your  hacking equipment, camouflage and Ж25, 000 in cash
I provide you full blueprients for "Rose" drone including Swarm AI code

That comes with an additional deal:
I agree to not use your hacking equipment in any ship of my design, only use it to analyze and design effective countermeasures to be installed on my drones. I am free to use your camouflage on any drone or ship I wish

You agree to not sell roses (either original or slightly modified*)  but free to produce any number of them for your own use or develop your own drones using parts of rose or Swarm AI.

*(mechanically that means not selling Ж10,000 modification of the drone, selling new Ж25,000 design that uses Rose experience is OK)

BTW, are there any inter-system courts or stuff like that?

You were planning to have a 15 year old magical girl kill Witches by drinking them under the table!? It's original, at least.

If you're asking whether or not I will be enforcing interplayer agreements in some way or another, I won't. Otherwise, there are.

Edit: On a side note. Bidding for contracts and selling stuff is next turn's business.

Edit 2: Due to the possibility of reverse engineering, all sales of player ships to other players have to approved by both parties. Unless, of course, it's a subterfuge action aimed at stealing, which would mean that you'd have to PM seperatly.

Well, that's a lot of cash UR.  I'll keep it in mind, but is it alright if I just purchase the 10 satellites for personal use at the standard price?  I swear to not attempt reverse engineering on them.

Edit: Alright, sorry about getting the turn order mixed up ebbor.  Please disregard my sales pitch to the Hologians.

Well, 6000 profit is 6000 profit. I think I can trust you and even if you go reverse-engineering route when you manage to copy it, it will be rather outdated so risk is not that big. Just note that it will cost you Ж14000. Not a small sum. May consider bartering drones for your techs

But I think it should wait till the end of the design phase. Should I get great results on my current project I may need all my production capacity on those, so ask me then.

Sure you did;

Besides, you can ask me to design ships to spec. Ie, at least X armor, or cheaper than Y.

Can you explain the size system used in the game?

Spoiler: Divisions (click to show/hide)

Size system determines many things, including price, production cost, possible subsystems and subsystem effectiveness. A laser mounted on a large capital ship will be significantly stronger than one mounted on a miniature probe, though the probe will be harder to detect, amongst other things.

For more information I need more detailed questions.

With this division system in mind, I have edited my newest ship design.

Just kidding!  Pax Shipping & Receiving, Inc. apologizes for the confusion.

Could use something more... detailed? I dunno.

Maybe use a naval class system though, like cruisers, fighters and the like,l which would make it a little more accurate. Or atleast through in a very large and small.

Well, might just do that.

I don't quite like the naval system because it doesn't have an inherent hierarchy, and can be confusing at times.
