I envy woman for their multiple orgasms and usually easier time finding sexual partners. But I don't think I ever wanted to be one.

Did the kinsey test, got a zero.

I have no desire to be a woman and I've only been attracted to women on very rare occasions.  However, I once had a dream that I was a woman getting it on with another woman.  Very, very trippy.  I probably had way too much takeout before heading to bed that night.  That always causes seriously random dreams.

I envy woman for their multiple orgasms...

It's rare, but there are guys who can, too.  I dated one.  Unfortunately, I got the impression it was more of a hassle for him, since he pretty much HAD to go at least three times to get the same sense of release that most guys achieve in one go.

It's possible, you just need to exercise a certain muscle and flex it like you would to stop urination when you orgasm. The refractory period is caused by the ejaculation, stop the ejaculation and there's no such period. Orgasm and ejaculation are separate processes.

You guys might want to end this discussion, I think it might be a bit on the locky-banny side, at least unspoiler'd.

Why? It isn't pornographic or anything - though I doubt there's any merit to continuing it, either.

No. It is actually really far past the line. This whole thread is a violation of the rules. The rules border on PG-13 actually, Very specific too:
Quote from: Forum Guidelines
•Do not discuss sexually oriented material.  There are exceptions to this rule, such as passing discussions of sexual content in movies, books, computer games, etc. in topics not directed specifically at the sexual material in question, but no sexually themed topics are allowed.  Sharing erotic images and erotic roleplaying are not permitted.  If you want to turn each other on, there are plenty of outlets for that.  This is not one of them.  Please refrain from sharing your sex life.
I imagine Toady is being especially lenient, and will let it open as long as we toe the line, but that is way over the damn line; egregiously so.

Discussing details are likely too far over the line, but should we keep things more innocent from here on out and simply leave it as an "identify if you want to" type thing, it should fly.

I'd read that as: Don't post stuff to tittilate. "Sexually themed" is rather open to interpretation, and I'd wager it refers to sexuality in the non-abstract sense. If we interpret this paragraph real tight, we aren't even allowed to discuss evolution or our relationship status.

Still, it might be better to ask the Toad to clarify once and for all where the limits are. On the whole, this thread has been rather worthwile, don't you think? And it's fairly localize, as well.

* Japa sighs.

The next time I have to remind people not to go into more detail than "I would have sex with this person" I'm locking this thread. There's still plenty of discussion that can be had here without going into graphic territory.

Well, what is there left to be discussed? The poll is not that representative so far. Still the numbers for hetero-, homo-, and bisexuals are not that surprising. Heterosexuals are the majority, no surprise. Homosexuals should be roughly 10%, which isn't the case here, but could include a lot of those who identified as bisexual. A lot of people identified as bisexual, but I think that reflects real life too, I know plenty of people who at least tried it with the same sex. Most women I know better are at least slightly bisexual, for men the social stigma is much stronger I guess. From what we know about other animals or ancient human civilizations, bisexuality with a strong preference for the opposite sex is pretty much the natural state.
What surprised me is the relatively high number of people who identified as asexual.

Me too. We have more than 10x the normally expected turnout.

I've gone YEARS and met only a handful. Gay people and bisexuals are common by comparison.

How many brothers do you have?

Maternal immune response to male androgenic hormones produced by the fetus is the leading suspect for homosexuality and asexuality in males. It is suspected (with strong statistical correlation) that the more male offspring a woman carries, the more sensitized her body becomes to the hormones bleeding over the placental barrier, and the more aggressive her immune response will be. The antibodies produced cross the placental barrier and impact the development of the fetus when neural tube formation is going on, and it alters the way the brain gets wired. (There are anatomical differences between male and female brains-- and between the brains of heterosexual men and homosexual men, including olfactory hormone responses later in life in the olfactory bulb.)

I'm only the 3rd male fetus my mom carried. Asexual as a treestump.

You sucked all the sexuality out of him and hogged it for yourself. There was none left for him.
