I'm not one to argue about definitions, but I will say "asexual" implies to me they don't have any interest in sexual things. IE no libido.

If someone calls themselves asexual because they don't like participating in sex but otherwise have a libido, then that would confuse me until they explained, but otherwise more power to them.

Initially it was, but it has been infiltrated by people from Uncyclopedia, Reddit, and 4chan over time. There's now a constant war between real hate-filled bigots and the jokingly bigotted over there.

Anyways, some of us either just don't feel sexual attractions very much and/or value platonic friendships too much to risk taking them to that level.
