Other red faction games.
Just Cause 2 and 3 embraces the concept.
Xcom: Apocalypse (warning: old game) embraces the concept of destruction (Incendiary grenades notoriously like to spread the joy destroying large swathes of the level and generating tons of smoke in the process.) It's a fun experience overall if you don't mind the age and not so fast gameplay (You can play in real time unlike other Xcom games).

I don't think I've ever played anything that compared to RF:G in ability to demolish things.

If only RF:G had mad better use of debris, it would have been so perfect. not that it's not perfect already, I played the shit outta that game. Still go back every now and again.

EDIT: If only they had had more megastructures, nothing was more fun than destroying the badlands bridge; planting mines and demolishing supports while traversing the truss underneath while a battle raged overhead and soldiers would fire down at you in the odd hole in the pavement.

If they ever do a new RF (that isn't the shitty Armageddon) I hope they include an editor.

Anyways, on topic, and good grand strategy games for the medieval/renaissance period that aren't paradox?

How about that new Nobunaga's Ambition game? No idea how good the port is, but it should count as a grand strategy game.

There's also the Hegemony games which seem to be grand strategeish. Not medieval or renaissance but close enough

Knights of Honor allows you to play as any nation in Europe and has some dynastic\town management things so I suppose it might count too.

Makes me curious, can cyborgs have future babies too?

I forgot to mention it but RTK 13 got its English release recently too. Doesn't have great reviews, however, so I think Nobunaga's Ambition is a safer bet.

I want a game where you can cut through a bunch of weak enemies, fitting the phrase "like wheat to the scythe". I want to be outnumbered hundred times over and be able to win.

Sounds like literally every singleplayer FPS?

(For example, every Max Payne game, The Jedi Knight series, Star Wars: Elite Force I and II, etc)

You are looking for Too Human. A good game--NOT a great game--but a fun one anyways.

Seems I have to clarify, it's x100 enemies at once, not time to heal and rest.

Any Dynasty Warriors game and its themed offshoots.

Hyrule Warriors being a particular standout, if you have a wii-u or the new 3DS.

While Too Human does indeed fulfill that requirement like the aforementioned Dynasty Warriors you might try Bladestorm: The Hundred Years War.

The Diablo series, Torchlight II, NetHack, etc.

Hack n Slash is the genre that comes closest, but most don't really get THAT large. You could try Castlevania: LOS, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, or Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.

EDIT: Be on the lookout for games that come close to what your looking for that may really amp up the enemy amount on higher difficulties. I know that there's even an Oblivion mod that really drastically increases the amount of enemies.

Wasn't that a big feature of Drakengard? There'd be a couple big dudes amongst the others IIRC, but I seem to remember one guy slaying hundreds of mooks.

Also what about survival shooters like Crimsonland?

And then, they will be weaponized. Like everything in this game, from kittens to babies, everything is a potential device of murder.
So if baseless speculation is all we have, we might as well treat it like fact.
