Holy crap, why did I not start watching One Punch Man earlier? This is the best thing.

Hi, everyone!

Along with the New Year rolling in and the completion of our inaugural giveaway, we're launching our dev log here.  We'll update about once a week or so with updates on our projects, discussions on concepts and techniques, notes on the gaming industry itself, and more besides.  Major developments will be announced here as well, of course.  We'll also be migrating to our own domain before long, so don't get too attached to that Wordpress url.

For those of you have sent in CVs--first of all, thank you very much for your interest.  We've been busy with the holidays and so on, but we expect to contact everyone within the next week regarding interviews and creative opportunities.  Thanks for hanging in there!

And, finally, it turns out that we'll be hosting another giveaway!  We're joining up with Alex Poysky to offer Bay12 FOURTEEN Pixel Piracy keys.  Keep watching this space--that should be up in a couple days.

Happy New Year, everyone!  Let's all do our best to live well.

The lime green on your site has caused irreparable damage to my retinas.

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.

No. Never take this advice.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.
