Takes a sip of the cask. Not enough to get drunk, mind you. We're not here to drink. Just enough to remember a reason for living.

Nadarr grunts, and flies across to open the door.
You fly across the pit and hang off the door, kick off of the wall and fly into the opening to find... A small 5ft hallway and a brick wall. The wall is clearly leading to the main hallway, and the brickwork seems hastily done. You bet if you took a good few whacks at it with the pickaxe, despite your strength, you could tear it down within minutes.

Jee wilikers, I think Highmax is near invulnerable, must have been dunked in the river styx like achilles was.
Just make sure he wears a boot.

You do so! The wall collapses into the shape of a door opening! Thoradin questions what happened, looks inside the door frame and understands.

Takes a sip of the cask. Not enough to get drunk, mind you. We're not here to drink. Just enough to remember a reason for living.
(14 vs 18) You down the booze and it doesn't affect you.

Where to? ((DwArfY, let the others decide this time))

Returns the cask to Thoradin.

((Highmax, if I understand the map correctly, next to the stairs we have the pit where Toady One was, beyond which was a corridor and door that lead to a 5x5 room that Nadarr knocked a hole through back into the corridor?))

((The 5ftx5ft room is the space where the door is + the area that wasn't taken up by the wall. So it was a little bigger then 5ft, but not much more))

((*looks at the explanation, then at the map....* I... er... I have no idea what I'm looking at then. I hope we're not going to miss anything important, but since Nadarr isn't supposed to choose again...))

Karl coughs from his brief drowning and glances distrustfully at the watery pit. "While we should probably explore that sealed off area you found, speaking for those of us who tend to sink like rocks in water and can't fly, I suggest we go deeper into the fortress through this workshop area."

((Without perception checks and secret doors that may not even be there, but not saying there aren't any, the pathway down that hall and the pit is cleared))

Raises hand.

"Actually... I can swim... pretty well. And can't we have ourselves or just our equipment put in a bag of holding and have the dragonborn fly across and drop us off?"

Another perception check if allowed, wherever I'm allowed at the moment.

((I have to agree. I have no idea what the map is supposed to show. Also, I did a perception check but all I found was some gear. Speaking of which, I never did tell anybody about that said gear :/ ))

((I think the door we went to led to a pit, then on the other side of that pit was a door with bricks on the other side. Once broken through, the door led back to the main hallway again. All everyone else had to do was go back down the hall they came through in the first place, and it seems they did.

So we're basically back where we started again.))

((The pickaxe shined from the light spell and the backpack is actually rather large. Plus Nadarr is so weak, he can't lift Karl if the guy was stark naked))
