Karl glances at the sky and then briskly removes his armor, asking Symon and Thyra to help with unstrapping greaves, pauldrons and the like to speed up the process. As soon as it's all in the bag, Karl plucks at his gambeson. "Let's get across quickly, I'd rather not get into a fight without my armor."

((Since I'm heading to bed, the first thing Karl does on the other side is rearmor himself.))

Go across and give back Karl's armour, then let the others help get it on.

Karl crosses the river and begins to resuit himself. Symon comes next, then Cromwell teleports across, and Alexander comes in. Thyra goes to cross and you all hear the crack of thunder again as rain pours down. Weston beats her to the rope and starts to cross. Thyra goes to cross next when you all hear shifting in the mud as decomposed hands and bodies start to rise up. You hear them moan as they begin to shamble towards you. You count ten, but as Thyra readies her bow to shoot, more rise and others as well. She drops her arrow she notched as more rise. Ten rose to twenty , then fourty and then to a large number that you don't have the time to count to. Thyra cuts the rope and starts to run towards the horses! You see in the river more dead are rising from the water! You have roughly two rounds worth of actions each before the undead start attacking! Thyra races across the field, unleashes her mount and rides away!

Thyra has left the party

You quickly go to the gate and see it's locked still! Cromwell can't teleport inside, and despite pulling and knocking on it, nothing happens.

What does the party do?

Jee wilikers, I think Highmax is near invulnerable, must have been dunked in the river styx like achilles was.
Just make sure he wears a boot.

Perception Check or whatever it is check on the door to get it moving or find a way inside!

It's mostly mechanical, but there is a lock on the door. With a few thievery checks, you may be able to get it open

If nobody has a higher than 3 in Thievery, use Thievery on the door.

If somebody else has a higher than 3 in Thievery, then wait for them to make an action.

Cromwell uses the prison to help him deal with the lock. (CRIT!) He masterfully maneuvers the lock. Cromwell is now locked in dealing with the lock (no check) for 3 turns.

Unfortunately, with this, the undead are arriving! Steel yourselves!

((Mostly for the purposes of getting the right idea of what to do. Since Cromwell fixed that and is taking up 3 rounds, you're stuck fighting undead until then

19 is jsut to start out. This isn't even counting the ones to the far right, left and still in the distance. As I said; there are enough undead that you don't have time to count them))

Give Karl the symbol and take positions as he said. Take out weapons & Hunter's Quarry nearest enemy
