While Kalnaf may be small (and therefore more stealthy), he does not really care about animals.  Or druids.  I mean, they're there, doing there own thing, and that's fine with him, but it's not like they're his people.  Probably a good idea to stick me where there'll be the most combat.

Any dog you buy has your choice of Performance, Guarding, Fighting or Hunting. Also, if you buy more than 5, I'm getting out the random dog table.

Don't worry, I couldn't afford more than three anyway. Also, no Handle Animal ranks, and it's trained-only, so I'm not going to be doing much with them for a while.
Edit: Do we know approximately how long the river expedition is supposed to take?

I think there is a distinct possibility of combat with these animals.  It's just a question of how much.  By using the smaller characters in this mission it could be possible to strike quickly and unexpectedly.

At this point, no. You have no idea how long the river is. You do know that a canoe can sail up river at a rate of 10 miles per day against the currents at the mouth of the river, or 20 miles a day with the current.

Still no Tower Shield Ruling. :(

Would I be able to play a Water Orc?

You can play a Water Orc. I have no idea what you're talking about regarding tower shields, though.

We can all agree that Tower Shields kinda suck right now, right?

Can I use an adjusted Tower Shield? :p I'm not entirely sure how I want to change it, but I just like the idea of playing what amounts to a Dwarven Tower Guard.

There are several problems with that: A] You haven't said how you want the tower shield adjusted, B] It would probably not be fair to other players to fiddle around with the rules for specific pieces of equipment that they may or may not be using and C] You don't even have a character sheet and the game starts tomorrow, why are you worrying about specific pieces of equipment?

That whole [C] point Grek makes seems rather worrying. I suggest we fix it as soon as possible.

Because I can make a character sheet fairly quickly.
But mostly because they aren't going to be using it, just like they probably aren't going to be playing CW Samurai. Because it's a poor choice as is.

But I suppose it doesn't matter much anyway. If I'm gonna be a Lawful Good Water Orc, I don't need the -10 AC Penalty.

I should probably use a piercing weapon. What with water.

Is it just me, or does Rem still have 4 skill points to spend?

Maybe he put them towards not-having skill points?

You mean like you and your 6 still remaining skill points?

Gilgamesh is 1 skill point over (Balance is a Cross-Class skill, so each rank costs twice as many skill points.)
Zako has his Class skills and Cross-class skills backwards.  (Math is correct though.)
Weirdsound has 2 remaining skill points.

(If you actually meant something by that comment, please explain.  I am ridiculously tired right now, and miss just about everything.)
