I'm a willing hand for stripmining, if somebody can coordinate me to the storage chests to put those things in.

Cobble Storage, on the top floor.

Wow. That's awesome, Elephant.
OK, here's the plan.
1)We bring all of the stuff over to Cobble first.
2)Then, we start using the spreadsheet/form. Then, we keep stocks in a separate spreadsheet.
3)Actually, that was pretty straightforward. I expected there would be more steps, but it seems that's it.
Okay. I'll set up a second spreadsheet.

Edit: What item order do you want? Alphabetical, ID (probably a bad idea, since IDs are being removed), or what? I'll go with alphabetical for now.

Spreadsheet.
Yeah, alphabetical is good.
Thanks, mate.
No problem.

I think I may also group the items by type (ore, metal, mob drop, etc.). That way, random stuff like all the different types of food can be on the list without wasting space.

What are our ultimate goals with farming?

As I've heard, get the clay four layers deep.  Other than that, there's not much need to expand it right now.  Just harvesting the fields as they are will leave us swimming in wheat.

Right-o.  We'll need some 4k blocks of clay then.

Who the hell left 32 iron and a diamond in an open chest in Dale?  I've got it now, but seriously...

We can use the groups we already use in Cobble.
I don't know what these groups are, unfortunately.

Doublepost for good reasons.
I broke open the first Mithril Forge chest.
It had a ton of diamond axes. The other chests now look much more promising.
Uh. Now we need to fix the machine within two weeks. If we don't, it's broken.

It wasn't a machine.
It was one of the storage chests.
Oh. So it wasn't in the machine room?

Remember, a machine consists of a furnace, crafting table, and chest.

Delicious diamond axes.

Did anyone here set up the trade chests by the dormitory?  If not, breaking open the diamond one is probably a good idea.

I got most of 'em already.

In other news, I built a DRO(diamond-reinforced obsidian)-covered chest in my safehouse. Anyone have anything they want stored before I finish sealing it up?

So should I mine under our base? Or should I head out a ways and set up a mining outpost? I never got a clear answer on this.

There are fairly extensive tunnels already under there; you may have better luck heading off a bit.

I'll probably be joining your settlement.

IGN TheDarkStar.

Edit: It might take a while, since I'm 14000 blocks away.
