+1.

Red inspects himself and notices that his face contains a lot more wiry twines protruding from it. He heads down to the chunk of home and sees the redstick box and picks it up.
Stella wakes up screaming upon seeing her new head barbs, which she has named hair, is too white for her liking.
Boxer gets up and notices that his hair is the same color as the Ploe-Ploles. He walks over to the Darkblob and bites a chunk out of it. He then spits it out, remarking that it tastes horrible.
Flounder gets up and sees a gray, fluffy thing poking at the Darkblob's eyestalk. He calls it a Flib, and tries to communicate with it. It hops over to him.
Eyes then grabs Flounder and pulls him along as she heads further inland. The Flib follows. She comes across a lot of Ploe-Ploles, and can hear some noise similar to the Breathe off to the side.
Flounder has tamed a Flib!
Flounder likes Eyes more!
