How would one join this, however? Have a person wander in from the jungle?
It's a suggestion game, not a RtD. So you just give people instructions.

But they are all unconscious right now.

Eyes: Dream of having magnificent long black hair, and standing on top of a mountain, scanning all that you see.

Could characters potentially gain skills from dreaming? They've proven with modern !!SCIENCE!! that just thinking about an action will actually improve your ability to do that action. Not as much as physical practice, but it works. That way, perhaps, we could tell the characters to dream of stuff and they'd maybe gain half-skill increments?

Flounder: Go with Eyes.
Eyes: Make sure that Flounder doesn't wander off and get himself killed.
