So, I manage to get hold of the game, and trying it out.

Having fun.

But I cant seem to stop everyone from starving. The stockpile meter says I have 300 something raw food, and my food harper have food in them, and my Food Paste Machine has power, but everyone is starting.

I've tried farming and cutting plants but everyone keeps starving.

Is the green circle of the Paste Machine accessible? Is the hopper adjacent to it? Are you using solars without batteries? Maybe it runs out of power when they're hungry and they end up eating raw food.

Hoppers are adjacent, there is one tile in front of the green dot, and its totally walkable.

Also now I cant issue rescue orders or attack order or arrest orders.

currently playing as a builder instead of a digger,

I like it better. maintenance is not that big of an issue, but may be because I am only at 5 colonists.

still they share the bedroom

I hope that this doesn't become Steam exclusive. There are those of us who can not run Steam without some hassle.

It probably wont be. Since Tynan is selling it on his website, we can probably rely on it being a straight download, along with a Steam release.

Say, are carpets & smooth stone equal in mood bonus?

As should be expected, carpet has a higher boost to mood than smoothed stone. Not magnitudes better like DF, but it's worth the cost if you've got tons of excess metal. Not remotely worth the cost before your base is fully established however.

Well, day 78, and I have a....unique, yet semi-realistic problem. Every square inch of the map is now covered in highly flammable grass shoots. I'm uh, I'm considering maintaining a firebreak around my home zone. One dry thunderstorm and this place is going to be a conflagration.

So figured out my issue. THere a bug tied to the game, where if you switch it into window mode, it makes all the right click commands bug out.

... Here I am reading the last 2 pages and thinking, "I'd like to try this out."

Later on, go onto kickstarter to look for another game... and see my backing list.  "Oh hey, I backed this didn't I?"  Guess I'll figure out how to download this later in the day.

EDIT: Found it in my orders and receipts folder/filter.
