I found a small table of regulars here in [Europe], it's been quite the delight. We mostly play casual, with a "okay, no turn 2/3 endless combos, seriously guys" rule and otherwise everything is just sorted by your own moral compass.
I play my somewhat updated, first deck;
Mono blue, high tide & lotus bloom for dat mana, a light helping of control/counters, game winner is storm levitan (8/8, only flying creatures can attack, it has iland walk and makes all other lands ilands in addition to anything else they might be)/ and ludvics test subject and plenty of "fun/cool" cards, like Clone Shell, Phantsmal image, fateweaver.
Control/Counter/fateweaver/couldbank keeps enemy busy for power turns where I transform the test subject, copy it 2-3 times with phantsmal image, or totem armor it with crab umbraw or just counter anything dangerous to it. Jace is in, so I could theoretically mill a enemy and that spell that takes a enemy creature and makes it do infect damage, incase the enemy gets tricky on me. Works really well, very solid, but strugling until 3 mana is around.

Madness !
A really fun mechanic where a card has "Madness XX" on it - if you discard the card, you may instead pay X mana and play it.
It runs mostly on a 2 mana enchantment "Discard 2 cards, put a 2/2 zombie down" - and the rediciously effective mana costs. You want to attack me with 5 guys and I have nothing out? Put down a zombie (block one), cast dark withering for madness cost (1 mana, kill one creature), discard a creature to graveyard - put another zombie down, play a madness cost 0 spell to get the graveyard creature back, play it for 2, gorgon lady (deathtouch, 5 mana in cost), sac it for its casting cost viva some lovly instant spells (1 mana, get a creatures casting cost in mana... and since all madness creatures cost like 5-7 mana if you'd play them normally, its good gain.
Adeptus Advatni [or some such, does the same]. I can basically continue buring thou my hand at rapid speed, especially with lovly cards like "Magus of the Bazaar" - 2 mana, tap to get 2 cards and discard 3]. Extremly deadly and extremly week against people who don't use creatures, there it just becomes a soft aggro deck. The advantages of casting everything you have at instant speed, @ will and never having to fear discards is glorious.
Veldaken Deck;
Veldaken interact with Artifacts, making them cheaper. The most well known might be Grand Architect, yes? This deck basically uses the cheap combo of alchemist (tap to untap any creature/artifact) and illusionist bracers (equip a creature - double its non-mana-ability, you may choose a new target.) - so the alchemist can be untapped by himself and untap another thing, be it a mana source or creature. Many veldaken produce mana for artifacts only and I have a metric ton of "tap for a unit" artifacts in there - mostly a theme deck, the veldaken factory that produces whatever I desire (Reptide Replicator) - you want a 10/10 Black Squirll Creature? Sure thing!". Fun, but feels lame due to endless combo. Can win turn 2-3 with [cup?] of life - gets you 1 life everytime you tap it, but if you have more then 30, you can transform it and it will do 5 damage to target player with each tap.
