Sheila looked at Alec. "Wait, that's why? I assumed it was the style of his coat or something."

: "Sure, that too, but the former reason's more fun."

: "Uh oh... I wonder..."

: "What, what're you on about?"

Alec blinked, then looked at Sheila and Grifen.
: "Something I should know about?"

Candy nodded to Grifen.

: "Right. I don't remember if I said, but we're not the only people in a big bad rebellion. And we're not the smartest rebelliers either. At least compared to the others. I rushed off to complete my fairy quest because I knew the time wasn't far away when we would have to deal with this, and we'd all need to be strong for it."

Alec gave a short sigh.
: "Alright, leaving out any personal offense I may feel at the thought of being 'Not the smartest rebellier', what are you going on about?"

: "Do you guys remember when I was almost arrested?"

Alec blinked, then looked at Sheila and Grifen.
: "Something I should know about?"

"Back when Matilda first got us 'signed up', Candy almost got locked up over an assassination attempt by a guy with pink hair."

: "Well..."



"Uh... there's two very bad people who want power and are very good at getting it. They have tricked hundreds of people and left them destitute or dead. They came from a place that I used to call home. I don't really want to say more about them. It brings up some bad memories. If they're turned on Yonn or Matilda now, we're in trouble."

Julius looked around.

"Why are we still standing here? We should probably head back."

Julius heads back to the inn

Alec blinked.
: "That right?" The bard leaned against the wall, "Well, make that three reasons to be on guard."

"Back when Matilda first got us 'signed up', Candy almost got locked up over an assassination attempt by a guy with pink hair."

: "Wait, wait, wait. That was you? Hah! You lot caused a lot of ruckus the day you stayed in town."

:"Yyyyeh, probably."
Efa also heads back.

Ciera sighed and sat up. She should go out and be with the rest of the group. She had no reason to continue to hide like this and doing so would just continue to sink her into this funk she needed to shake. She sighed, and started to head out. Only to open the door and see Alec leaning against the wall talking to everyone else.

"Eeep!"

Quickly ducking back into her room, she shut the door and slid down against it til she was sitting with her back to the door. He'd come back... She didn't know if she was up for stressing about acting like everything was fine in front of him. She buried her head in her hands. She really needed to get over this crush. She couldn't keep letting it get in the way of acting like a professional.

Sheila looked up as Ciera made her brief appearance before disappearing again. The poor girl really just needed more confidence. And maybe a bit of hands on experience.

"Hey Alec, you should go get Ciera. She should probably be down here to talk about this." I am so smart when I'm not being an idiot.

Alec's ear perked to some noise off in the distance, but then heard Sheila.
: "Hm? She's upstairs? Alright, one second."
The bard makes his way to the inn's bedrooms and after finding Ciera's door, knocked slowly and spoke in a quiet tone.
: "Hey, Fly Girl, you awake?"

Ciera slowly lifted her head as she heard Alec talking outside her door. Slowly backing away from the door, she stared at it for a few seconds, before responding,

"Ye... ahem, yes. Uhm... come on in, the door's not locked."
