"Oh. Yeah, I guess we can do that. Lemme just gather everyone else up."

Alec slipped through the door just as Iva rushed out.
: "Huh? Wait, was that..?"
The bard immediately walked up to Sheila.
: "Did she just tell you anything?"

Sheila took a seat next to Leo, looking tired. "An associate of Yonn and Matilda's wants to meet tonight."

: "Well, she's new to me. That and they're not using the expected channels. Something must be up." Alec scratched his chin while pondering aloud.
: "Duster and the Old Man are still out, they should be back soon. Is there anyone else still away right now, or is everyone all here?"

"Haven't seen my dad or the new girl we picked up with him a month ago all day. They're both probably around though. I think that's everyone else accounted for."

Candy materialized in a nearby chair with many sparkles. Some of the sparkles got in Alec's hair.

: "Hey guys what's going on?"

[Sirus]

: "Aww. I was kinda hopin' they had forgotten all about us."

: "Hmm. Hey Alec, why do ya call Fezz "Duster"? I understand most of yer nicknames but that one confuses me. Also heya Candy."

"Hey Candy. We've just gotten word from Yonn and Matilda... Allegedly. Alec thinks it smells fishy."

Alec waved his arm around to keep the dust from getting in his face.
: "What Sea-legs said. Apparently our mutual friend's looking to contact us. We'll need to be ready for anything."
A small grin showed on Alec's mouth as he answered Grifen.
: "Short for 'Featherduster'. Or 'Fezzerduster'. Can't go around calling two people 'Mop-top', hehe."

: "What do you mean fishy? They were tryin' to hide their presence or somethin'?"

: "Well, I didn't talk to the lady, but One: The contact isn't someone I know about, and Two: We're in the middle of the mainland amidst the Empire, it just pays to be ready for anything."

: "Uh oh... I wonder..."

Sheila looked at Alec. "Wait, that's why? I assumed it was the style of his coat or something."

Grifen buried her face in her hands at that little revelation, but the sound of suppressed laughter escaped. After she calmed down, she rejoined the conversation.

: "I think what he's sayin' is that it might be a trap. Right?"
