Miguel shook his head slowly with a laugh.

: "So it would seem! I'm what I like to call... An experienced lover."

: "Hohohoho."

Ciera laughed but blushed at the same time. As her laugh faded, her smile did as well, and she quickly turn back to Mazin, busying herself with starting brush the pegasus.

It was happening again. As Ciera turned away, Miguel's incredibly crusty parenting skills kicked into overdrive. Like with Sheila at the Red Palace, he could immediately tell something was off. It was as if someone had walked into the room, threw a bucket of ice water into the fire, and stormed off into the night unseen. Miguel frowned vigorously.

: "...You're having relationship troubles, aren't you?"

"Yes, that would be me. And..."

Julius took a deep breath and recited the message from the note.

"Where are the pretty boys?"

The maid nodded, and then looked to the side.

"A certain boy named... Fyro... was inquiring about his beloved, hmm, Grifen, I believe? She could come with us."

"Ah, what? Oh, uhm, no. It's nothing like that. I'm just making sure I didn't miss any spots on Mazin. That's all."

[Furtuka]

"If she wants. Grifen you mentioned earlier that you were interested in attending yes?"

Needless to say, Miguel was not buying it. He crossed his arms.

: "Now now. No need to deny it. I've been around on this earth long enough to know that the stable is simply another place for a convenient escape."

: "It's the boy, isn't it?"

"What? No, he's great. He's just busy, that's all. Which is understandable. We're all busy these days, right? Yeah, he and I were spending time together, but then he found some music that he wanted to look at, and I needed to come check on Mazin, so we went different ways. That's... that's all."

Grifen took a deep breath, then nodded.

: "Let's get on with it."

Miguel nodded in his usual way. Hoo boy. This was going to be a sticky one.

: "Yes. Yes. I understand. But are you sure that's all?"

Ciera shrugged.

"I... yeah, I mean, what else would there be? We've only known each other a couple of months. We're not like Leo and Sheila, those two are head over heels for each other. It's... different with us. I mean... At least it seems to be. And... and that's ok. I like him and he likes me. That's all that matters."

:"THAT's what I'm talking about. I'll buy that Yari off of you."
