Thats why you always plan these things out before you move, it's standard military protocol to set rally points in case that happens.

We can request it before we set out, with our logistics bonusses in that kind of kit and in general it shouldn't be to difficult hopefully.

Then you do whatever you can to make it to the rally point or the nearest friendly force.

Thats standard training, if the drop goes wrong you either regroup with another force or head for the closest rally point to wait for your squad. Thats what you do, that or you continue on alone and hope the others do the same and catch up.

Or take the whisper now and it'll take a very long time and a lot of luck to get later.

Then you fall back to the next one, you generally have a lot of points ranging from near your target right back to friendly territory, if one is compromised you fall back to the next one and keep doing so until you reach a safe point to wait or until you reach the base.

Still better off with the whisper then the beads.

The upgrade to flak armor would not affect specialist gear, and Alexandria your carapace armor wouldn't be upgraded from it. Also, while it may be possible to get microbeads in the future keep in mind you won't also be in a place that has a Department Munitorium presence, meaning that you won't be able to try to get something from the logistics system. Adding onto that, you don't have that high of a chance to even obtain it in the first place. Your logistics rating starts at 10, and the covert doctrine only adds a +10 into getting it. You'd have to get pretty lucky and roll under 20 to get it, so don't count on getting it.

Keep in mind your armor is already pretty good, and I believe it'd still be better than the normal armor everyone else is wearing.

Yeah, it's unfortunately not beneficial to you, but it makes everyone else's armor nearly as good.

If we fight something like Chaos Space Marines, can we take their equipment?
