Jotun-Oracle is not an original creation, so they think it is just a blasphemer, trying to spout nonsense that Tantiy isn't all-powerful.

They actually don't know about the Oracle portion, yet.  Don't forget your character was a cripple, when he got the spirit, and a cripple cannot benefit society.  They are going after you for the first one.

Umm...Tanzeret's my character. Remember? Also, Tanzeret doesn't dispute that Tanity isn't all powerful. He's just pissed that mortals think they can interpret the will of Tanity.

Chaos Beasts were creations of MutOrb, so they cannot participate in the Tantiy aspects, and the Trolls are too dumb to be in-charge.
Alright, I get the first two bits, but why are the Jotun being opressed?

To be fair, RL theologins tended not to like people saying that they didn't know what they were talking about.

Didn't look at the username, sorry.

And your still a cripple, which breaks the first doctrine.  Whatever you say about interpretation is just extra.

He's not being oppressed.  He's preaching what they don't want to hear, and he is a cripple, and cripples don't benefit society all that much.

GreatWyrm, Jaass, continue the OOC conversation here.

Considering how we are discussing the religion of the Unified City, and the possible start-up by Rolep (if his character's teachings aren't interpreted to be enlightenment through regulated chaos (*cough*MTG Boros guild*cough*)), I feel I should add how the two remaining younger gods came into being.

Jabiron was manifested by the what the Drakin were surrounded by.  He isn't an antagonist, though.  Rather, darkness allowed for the Drakin to spot the bloodspore mold.  The viewed the darkness as a blessing, and Jabiron and Raven are patrons to the Drakin.

The Harbinger manifested through the Merfolk.  The Merfolk view twilight and daybreak to be ambivalent, due to the defender's foreboding, and the attackers praising the twilight signifying the coming night, and the defender's relief and the attacker's woe at the oncoming day with the light of dawn.  Twilight also has another meaning: the Merfolk view, that thought they were a new race, they are also in the twilight of their race, since they might not be able to rebound with such low population and dissent amoungst themselves.

I thought I remembered that they were oppressing Jotun in general, as well.

The Inquisitor smiled, and responded, "Why don't you meet Tantiy yourself?"
Wouldn't the logical follow-up to be to toss him into a ravine or something? Since Tantiy is, you know, the planet and the ground they stand on?

Well, they are in the middle of a city...and they believe that when you die, you are able to speak to Tantiy in the afterlife...

By the way, when is someone going to make an afterlife?

The turn isn't up.  You have acts.  Why do you need to ask?

Oh, in order to get some gender variety (seriously, search this topic for 'she' you only get 4 posts), two new ascendants are going to be added: a female Drakin assassin, and a female Jotun healer.  I'm also going to open up Kaferain's character up, until he comes back.  I'm going to be fairly selective with these.

No Shroud ascendants? I think it would be pretty fun to drift around space, and cause massive amounts of insanity due to your presence.

Hard to decide which Ascendent to help. Because both of them are dying :P
