What is a "Day"? Rotational periods vary greatly from world to world.
That's why it's a 'day'(just a time measurement) and not a day. We'll say it's about 25 earth hours.

Do you guys need me to change the intro post to fit what is going on?

Well, an update summary wouldn't be that bad.

How far away is my table from the others? Can I hear their discussion?

two tables away or so. You 5 are the only ones in the bar so you can hear everyone fairly easily.

I realize now I should have drawn this scene or at least given a lot more spacial information in the update. Sorry for my incompetence guys, this is the fist time I've done an adventure like this so I'm out of my element.

We shouldn't care too much for these things anyway.

So instead of just choosing some random flagstaff day they just chose a number outa the blue?
Well, atleast it makes shifts easier.

Maybe they're just using the local time unit?

Perhaps, but considering we have a standard year of 100 days.

Planets use their local time it's just they need a universal time measurement to organize anything involving multiple worlds.

When you've got hundreds of planets with their own rotational periods I don't see how you could do without having some standard time.

No, converting the time and date.
How are people supposed to keep track of 100 different dates with their own cycles?

Pocket watch/ calculator combination. Not that hard after all.

Also, if spacetravel isnt instant than  it'snt much of a problem, really.
