We have standardized time zones, and use them for space that depend on where you launched from. We are talking about hundreds, if not thousands, of solar systems containing potentially millions of populated worlds. From what I can tell from the text, there is a standard, galaxy wide year and day, with the year being 100 days and a day 25 hours.

And on earth there is one standard time (GMT) which is then modified based on where you are. As we all have the same day cycle it makes the maths easy, but it should be simple to translate.

I have about 270k, so thats about a third of the cost there. The question is, can we get enough for 1.4 million?

Aseaheru: it was not an OOC comment, my character just was saying that if you are going to invest in something with somebody who invests more than you, then you have right for a lower portion of the benefits, just that. Our characters are thinking about making money, anyway.
