So I had a go at drawing the characters:
Charles was weird to do since he's more or less just a regular dude. Seems weird to wear your spacesuit to a bar and when a space-derelict scavenger isn't in his spacesuit I figure he just wears regular clothes.
Kaianee gets some government issued Armour with the government's symbol scratched off so it's a bit more incognito.
Ka'shiik is dressed like a PI because he's just so damn suave.
Kreaiwel gets a sciency coat with an apron.
Asgarus is just dressed like a regular guy. He should probably be the one with the headset instead of Charles since he's a hacker.
You'll all get the basic tools you need to do your jobs like weapons a space-suit and science gear. If that's all good let me know. I figured you guys should get a chance to veto things if you hate them.
I've got a pretty sound idea on how I can get you guys to all meet up in a bar (and finally get this adventure rolling).
Kreaiwel and Kaianee are buddies from the Tknunanai fleet and stuck together after their battalion was decomissioned. They've both been going from job to job trying to raise money (as per Kaianee's backstory). They've just been dropped off at a spacestation by their last employers and are talking about how they'll need their own ship and crew if they are going to raise the amounts of money they need to make a difference in the efforts to retake their homeworld.
Charles and Ka'shiik are also both new arrivals and are looking for work (as per Charles' backstory) they've both been on the station for a few days and have shared some drinks together. Ka'shiik overhears Kreaiwel and Kaianee talking about needing crew and getting large sums of money and volunteers both himself and Charles to be said crew.
Asgarus is freaking out because he's got this payment and no client in sight (as per his backstory) he's wanders into the bar and sees the group. Either he figures he needs to get away quick and this is his opportunity or, through a conveniently vaguely worded conversation manages to convince himself that one of him is his mystery client (probably Ka'shiik since he's the suavest).
Then you start looking for a ship and supplies.
