''You're telling me. Thanks.'' Matt practice wields the sword and shield. ''G-g-good thing I enjoyed L-LARPing.''

"Stay close and transform if you need to. As much as I despise your alter ego, I would rather see him than watch a valued ally die before me."

Anima and Hestia stay close to Matt, protecting him from any attacks.

(Well that title change isn't foreboding at all)

Ghost continues to follow everyone, also taking a kite shield from the sketchbook for added protection. Conny stayed alert, trying to hear if anything else was coming.

"I'll let you guys know if i hear anything." Conny briefly considers throwing an orb of light down the tunnel but decides stealth is better.

''Oh I feel so useful...'' Matt says to himself, wondering along a blood soaked corridor.

As you move down the cavern, you notice broken stalagmites and stalactites. Something large move through here, maybe the ship. The blood trail is getting random, why is it on the ceiling?

Far off noises of roars and drawled out beeps(think star wars) can be heard in the distance.

(Indeed, in fact I think you should come down here, one at a time.)

You were planning to have a 15 year old magical girl kill Witches by drinking them under the table!? It's original, at least.

"Prepare for battle. I don't like that sound, nor do I like the implications of blood trails on the ceiling, or those roars."

Anima raised her staff to fight, and Hestia rose up, uttering an uplifting hymn that seems to strengthen and toughen all of her allies.

Conny takes flight, hovering near the ceiling as everyone continues forward. Ghost prepares her shield to take a hit in case of incoming projectiles.

"I'd like to see whatevers there to even try and harm us." Ghost looks determined and ready for battle.

(Placing my bet that we save a child alien.)

"Move onward, but slowly. Hestia has blessed us with strength and resilience, and we must not waste it, and the distressed are most likely still fighting those beasts."

Conny flies forward from above while Ghost moves forward with her shield up.

Matt prepares his shield, but in all honesty, he was trying to use his head to try and decipher anything he was seeing. Good luck to that.

*A few hours ago*

"Well, there they go. Wish they'd offered to give me a lift."

Miranda sighed under her breath, watching the rest of the group fly off, then shrugged, and set off in the direction of the train station.

"Student return to Canberra, please."
"Hey, aren't you that Magical Girl from the fight yesterday? Silver, or something?"
"Uh, yeah. Lady Silver. Why?"

The guy in the ticket office grinned
"I've seen that footage so many times now, it's goddamn Awesome!"
"Oh. Uh, thanks."
"So, where are the other ones? The summoner, that lightning guy and all the rest?"
"Flew to Canberra. I'm too big to be carried, and I can't fly, so I get to take the train."
"Oh, Dang. Well, if you run, there's a train leaving in 3 minutes should get you where you want to be. Good Luck!"

Miranda smiled back.
"Thanks!"

*One short(ish) train journey later*

Miranda, having heard the news about the ship while on the train, sets off at a run towards the crash site.
"I knew I should have said something before they set off. God Damnit!"

"...We forgot Miranda didn't we?" Ghost resists the urge to facepalm with a sword in her hand.
