"Indeed. I shall be the healer this mission, for we require one. Hestia, Hearthmaiden, I summon thee!"

Anima summoned Hestia to her side.

"Brother, stay with these men, they will protect you."
Alistair nodded and stayed with the soldiers.

Selina starts to mutter under her breath, not realising shes saying her thoughts aloud.

"Okay Selina, you can do this. Focus on Maria." After about a minute of muttering similar things, Selina began to glow and transformed into Ghost.

"Alright, lets do this."

(when the rest catch up)

You head to the hole, it a jagged thing that seem at least a mile deep with scorch marks everywhere. That said, it seem easy enough to jump down to the bottom, but best in magic form so one does not break a leg on landing

Anima floated down, with Hestia floating down after her, on balls of fire.
"Come on then, hurry up!"

"I suppose that we need me in a dress back."
With that Kyle transforms. Only he has surpassed the need for a dress and is now wearing furs and pelts to cover his body.
"Let's go."

"Great hes even more an angry Irishman." (i'm part irish i can make the stereotype.)

Conny and Ghost follow Not Kyle and Anima.

With that Kyle back flips into the hole.

Meanwhile....

"The army's here. Should we help, Ace?"
"No, mate. Not unless Izzy's prepared to attack."
"We're not helping them just yet. You know that, Ace."
"Tyler?"
"I will hold back, unless we need to enter the fray."
"Stay hidden then, and keep your bloody bow down!"
"Keep it down, you lot. We can't reveal ourselves yet. We'll make our appearance soon."

"Ah, young love. Always so amusing."
Anima smirked as she walked behind Not Kyle, Connie,and Ghost.

At the bottom of the shaft, you find blood, lots of it, caking the walls and pooling at the bottom. A trail of blood leads down a tunnel, naturally formed, away from the blood pool.

"I think there's a little bit of blood down here."
Kyle says walking down the tunnel.

"Find me the wounded, I shall attempt to salvage them."

Anima took on a dead serious tone.

"Maybe that distress signal was real after all." Ghost has her sword at the ready.

"Only one way to find out." Conny nooks an arrow to her bow.

(I'mma assume someone floated Matt down earlier)

''Oh wow...'' Matt covered his nose from the stench of blood and death. That, and if he had anything left in his stomach, it'd've probably joined the blood in a kind of weird soup.
''Hey, uhh... Ghost. Any chance I could get like... I dunno, a gun, axe, shield? Anything? I'd transform but we need stealth at the moment...'' Matt said, holding a hanky to his mouth and nose.

"Sure thing Matt." Ghost pulls a sword and buckler out of her sketchbook and hands them to Matt.

"Are these alright?"

"I'm glad you haven't transformed yet Matt. Thanks." Conny gives him a small smile.

"Indeed, in a perfect world, we'd prefer you stay as Matt. Maria says she prefers you that way and I can't say I disagree.

Sadly, this isn't a perfect world."
