Small Illusions - Illusionist - 3 MP - Moderate

Allows you to decieve either the eyes of a single person with an object, or create sounds in the target area as you please.

The "cat" idea is good - but we would need two spells at once. I estimate about 20% chance of failing. By then we would also have only 3 MP left.

Not saying that it is a bad idea, just letting you guys know. And yeah, I would very much dsilike to change the ability - "aoe"-Illusions are extremely powerful. To put it into another point of view, nothing would hinder us to make ourselves invisible.

Make an illusion that causes us to look like a cat. Enter the town.
That might not work so well.

Shh, the GM might notice!

Just to point out, until we learn the subschool Illusion (Shadow), illusions aren't going to be much at all. Just smoke and mirrors, with a little fairy dust to help out the deception. The true power of the illusion comes not from the illusion itself, but how it is used.

That's okay, we've got enough energy to cast that three times.  We just need to make it past the checkpoint (with 2 people) and then do what we can to remain unseen.  Though you make a good point.

Retracting suggestion upvote until the OP tells us whether we can run multiple copies of the illusion simultaneously to affect different targets.  Restore suggestion if it is possible.

I'm sure there's another way of getting past the checkpoint that doesn't involve using up almost all of our mama.
-1 to turning in ta a cat.

Are both of the soldiers male?  Could always make a sound nearby of a woman crying out for help.  No respectable male soldier could resist that.

And no disrespectable soldier would pass on that opportunity.

Can we not just climb over the palisade? Should be able to attempt it, at least.
...I was thinking this earlier, then decided on the cat disguise.

Why don't we just run in while the door's open?  We're small enough that they probably wouldn't be able to stop us.

right, because nobody will notice a cat-sized dragon run in the door behind them.

The artwork relates to the encasing of the HMRC in metal by Pancaek during the Mission of Many People.))

Either time the passing through door while guards looking away, or if that's not possible make them look away using sound illusion.

They'd notice us, though...

Actually...
Try finding some kind of hill nearby and glide over the barricade from here in area which is least guarded.

Can't believe I didn't think of this sooner, I've used it enough in other RPGs.

Before we do anything else, we need to find some good thick mud and roll in it.  Get some loose grass or something too, just completely coat ourself in the stuff, as thick as possible.  If no mud is available, pitch from a tree and some bark strips could work, too.  It is evening, visibility is already poor.  If we obscure our colour and distort our shape with clinging debris (preferably debris that matches the local environment, but it's not crucial), even if we are seen, we won't be easily identified.
