TO BE UPDATED.

Ok, I wasn't able to play much but still here's a spring report.

I digged some rooms and produced some beds in anticipation of a migrant wave:

Have struck an aquifier in process:

Any suggestions about what to do with it?

Also I've dug a cool wagon-only entrance to our depot:

This will allow us to entrap an outer side of the main entrance too.

Some migrants have arrived (population is 43). Please tell me if you want to be dorfed as a particular dwarf.

The first step is as good as half over though.

TO BE UPDATED.

That poor, poor single engraver. Can just imagine him cursing Armok for sending him to the only mountainhome without stone walls...

Anyways, I would like to have a turn and be dorfed as a ranger who will hopefully be enlisted into the eventual military. Name him DwArf, thx

No brewer visible on that list, but I did claim one as my reward on page two. So name him or her after me if you please. 8)

So much the better. I was slightly worried when I got the impression you were going to slaughter all my precious ducks or post them as fortress guards. They're there for my breakfast eggs.

Yes, once I realized the error, the nest boxes went up right away.  Wish I'd have noticed earlier, that would have really helped the food situation.

Turns out you make wooden nest boxes at the craftsdwarf workshop.  Very intuitive.  Oh well, copper works too.

Can I be added to the player list please? I'm not sure if my previous message was clear enough, but I want a turn  :)

Sorry, have to drop a turn due to RL issues. Here's raws for different graphic packs as promised (I haven't tested Phoebus' though, but it should be fine). And here's my save (somewhere after trading with elven caravan) if the next overseer wants to continue. I've dorfed guys and started some military training at the moment.

For technically inclined readers: I used git-merge to automate merging of different mods/graphic packs/whatever. This is very handy; I had to edit only 4 blocks manually per each graphic pack in case of Sandhammer. More mods you are trying to merge, more helpful it is. You can use your VCS of choice instead, of course. Just keep each mod/graphics pack raws in a topic branch relative to vanilla raws (master). I can bet I'm not the first, however I haven't seen any mentions of this before.
