Falling counts as bludgeon damage for HP purposes unless it's fast enough to warrant ballistic. Tacking on a +2 soak would get your fill at 5.

So you're saying that if I want to survive falls, I just need to fall really fast.

Hmm... weapon design and material musing.

True materials are +3 and Essence are +1. The additional descriptors are usually +1 or +2.

So, True Black Steel is a +5, and if one is going to do that, they might as well get the full-out anti-degrade 5%. The remaining +5 would be a damage type, and... probably damage or accuracy depending on personal taste. Maybe a spell and management pool.

Armor would maybe be better. The ideal state in my opinion is to have soak all around, most concentrated in the damages you take.

In this case, dropping a full 10 on a pristine ring of invulnerability would be good. Or maybe just some really nice armor that has dodge enchants.

True Black Titanium Chain, Dodge 10%, Mana Reduction 10%, 20 MP, Heal Lesser Wound, Transmute Kinetic Energy into Potential Energy. Light, reduces damage and spell cost, and on days when you don't need to heal, you can charge up some mighty strikes.

I think I'm reall confused as to how enchanting tiers work. Isn't any single one of those things a tier, and so you can choose five things total if it's +5???

True, but you have confirmation of one part of the puzzle, a 50% chance of the second, and con figure out the third.

I trust you'll get the really good stuff up to 15 instead of just the 5.
