Daethwin usually uses magic, knives, mebbe short swords, crossbows...

Simple stuff he can carry around with little consequence or impediment. He's a singer/lover, not a fighter.

If Daeth doesn't want it, Jewel has plans for it. Not every day one gets their hands on a special material of their specialty.

Oh, are you kidding me? Once he knows what it is (and he can speak in Dwarven, by the way, and once he figures out Jewel knows it better, probably will), he'd LOVE it. Crystalline weapon capable of conducting his magic? It makes notes when it hits stuff? He can seriously blow some shit up that way. Plus, it's so purdy.

Crystal spear for Rurail will be put off for another day, when Jewel gets his grubby stone mitts on those crystal deposits underground.

Jewel's native language is Dwarven actually. Well, as is Elemental Language (Elementurge? Can't remember its name), but he doesn't speak it much and is a bit rusty. Not often one converses in it, really.

@Remuthra: Jewel find it quaint and silly, but the idea of making a sledge/maul/flanged mace/flail out of the stuff is something he's practically watering at the mouth about. Unless of course it makes a terrible bludgeoning weapon, then he'd be sad but make weapons for others out of it.
