Reads on other players
Why are you doing this?
2. Better question is why not? The houses system (With us not knowing who owns which house and some of us don't even have one) gives a pretty big hint that NKs will not be the same. It also opens up a lot more options for role powers.
For all you know the nightkill operates exactly the same as it always does. For all you know it doesn't.
Until you have something more concrete to work with, what good is this speculation?
3. Isn't that what putting pressure on someone is though? A test to see their reaction and whether or not you should continue questioning them? And alone, no. A single vote with this many players won't make or break someone.
Yes, that is what a pressure vote is, but that's not what I'm asking.
Who can you say among your list of suspects that you want to lynch, no pressure required?
And if it was for convenience, why didn't i just leave my vote on the player (Lenglon) who was more likely to get majority votes?
There's more to voting the most convenient target than just the amount of votes that player has. If it hides you better as scum, that's also a convenient target.
In this case it could be both; Nerjin had plenty of votes already, had several people make strong cases against him, and Lenglon begun having a few players here and there defend her. It's easy enough to go with the flow and be 'convinced' by arguments presented by other players regarding both of these players and change your vote.
To everyone: Apparently voting to save yourself at the expense of town isn't seen as scummy by everyone. If you haven't expressed an opinion on this subject yet could you do so? Also, express your reasoning behind your conclusion.
I don't think anybody should do a last minute vote change to save their own skin ever, since all that does is move their lynch from Day 1 to Day 2. They're better off dying proud and defiant than tying the vote and messing the rest of the town up.
But it's only as scummy as how it's done; if they're fighting tooth and nail trying to convince everyone of their case, then tying the vote just barely passes into not okay territory. If they silently wait until the last minute to change their vote, a speedy Day 2 lynch is better than they deserve.
It's the foundation on which your throne of lies sits.
It is a very nice throne.
Oh, excuse me. A very nice throne you accuse me of sitting upon.
Same post as the centerpiece. It's just a reinforcement on the same theme (If I acted scummy it's because the Jim facet was acting like a goofball. The Vector facet is in charge now and is totally town, yo.)
Do you deny that replacements in general favor the slot?
I don't understand the point of you mentioning this, when my answer to that particular RV question would be identical regardless of my alignment.
This post is a good example of you throwing around gentle poking "attacks" without real substance or follow-through.
This is an unfair example, actually, since that post is in the early game, when most people are making gentle poking "attacks" without real substance or follow-through.
So when, assuming you think it did, did RVS end?
Around when you voted me and when I voted SK.
Ironic because you're doing the same thing. (PS: Being lazy is scummy, not the hypocrisy part, before you throw that back at me.)
I disagree, of course.
I don't know how you can accuse me of being lazy in this game. In terms of productivity and activity I think this is one of my better games, compared to when I last played before this. (Not swimming in a sea of math homework helps.)
Riddle me this- how comparatively scummy are Nerjin, NQT, Ranger, and Solifuge?
NQT >>>>> Nerjin >> RangerCado >> Solifuge.
"Vecoovster-senpai, after reviewing last night's events, I noticed that you took no part in it, but spoke both just before and just after they took place. you did not attempt to extend, you left your vote on NQT-senpai, and yet you were there for that entire sequence of events. Why did you stand on the sidelines and do nothing?"
I most certainly was not there for that entire sequence of events. I made a post before and a post after. This does not mean I was watching what was going on. I was engaged in non-mafia activities, which I occasionally indulge in out of necessity and sometimes for diversion. Things like eating, sleeping, playing a video game or two.
Had I witnessed the silliness that was the game near the deadline, I would have broken the tie. It would have been against Nerjin, for all of you who are rushing to ask me that.
My imaginary vote goes to Vecooster for sitting by the sidelines last night without voting to extend.
Everybody has a goshdarned stiffie over extensions.
I hate extensions. Hating extensions is my thing. This is an old hatred, extending back years. They slow the game down and I am impatient. If I request an extension, it's because I personally do not have enough time to play, I haven't gotten a good enough read on the game to make a solid decision, I want to hear from somebody who's been inactive, or, on occasion, I'm being nice.
This is not the case with this game. I'd rather see people make up their goshdarned minds, especially in the last minute, and get on with the goshdarned game, than extend.
See my response to Lenglon about sitting idly by. If I was around I still wouldn't have extended, by the way. But breaking the tie is something I would have been more than willing to do.
