Youtube comments aren't known for being reasoned or insightful. Wait a couple of days when the multi-chain discussions appear, it has barely been 11 minutes:

Because, as much as I would like to marginalize their importance, they are a very real part of culture. And apparently they represent no small part of the opposition to Sarkeesian.

My comment was deleted by the moderator. Someone reposted my comment explaining how it was deleted, and replied to it rationally. They were flagged as spam.

I don't particularly want anyone to read the comments, but previously when the issue came up there was some speculation that the negative comments were cherry picked to make people who wanted to open up the comments look bad. I simply wanted to prevent this from being an argument with any foundation at all.
