IRL work is doing horrible things to my free time, so if we can push this day to the weekend, I'd appreciate it.

As for what having both candles lit does...
I don't know.  I have my Role Power, so we can maybe try snuffing one of my candles to see if that makes it go away.
Flavor in my role seems to indicate that it comes from the Teal candle, and that it's tied to Wisdom, but, again, that's not directly stated.  I'm reading between the lines.

I don't know if I truly have it or not.  I'm 29 now- if I do, it really doesn't make a difference.  I certainly wouldn't medicate myself over it, because I have a dim view of any mood-altering medication.  I got put on Ritalin back in sixth grade for ADD, and didn't like it then.

I do know I match several of the "classical" symptoms, especially the social and obsessive ones, and getting interrupted does set me off.  I work in a hospital- I could always ask the people in radiology if I can stick my head in their million-dollar piece of equipment.

*shrug* I suppose that whether you've "got it" or not isn't really all that important. It's not like the flu, where you've either got it or you don't.

If you think about it, everyone falls somewhere on the autism spectrum, and we draw the line for various disorders based on whether or not people need help to get along in the world. Basically, it's defined by whether or not those traits have gotten in your way in life.

  Two things are different today, however.
 
  First you see that Toaster's Green Candle has been extinguished, a thin trail of smoke emanating from it. A faint wiff of incense is upon the air.
 
  Next you notice that Ottofar's White candle is out as well, though no smoke trails from it at this point. Ottofar himself seems fine, however.
 
  One of the Healers informs you that Solifuge still lies in a deep slumber.

I think that Ottofar's candle thing happened because he is a darkness-related priest. The fact remains that if someone (likely scum) wanted to snuff his white, possibly giving him better powers, we should want it lit.

It might have something to do with what Tiruin did to Solifuge's candle. The fact that Okami has no role abilities (or he's lying) with all candles lit seems to contradict the idea that more candles lit is strictly better.

Two candles were manipulated last night ... so it looks like there's no straight-up kills in this game. It seems odd that we could just vote to undo exactly what was done last night, creating a stalemate. There must be some reason we can't simply do that.

I would like to hear from Ottofar and Toaster to see what they can tell us about the candle's effects.

PPE: Just thought to check my PMs, and I was told that I slept exceptionally deeply last night, enough that an acolyte had to throw water on my face to wake me up. I didn't take any actions (I don't have any to take), but it certainly sounds like a roleblock.

Ottofar's candle left no scent and no smoke... yet all other times a candle has gone out, we were told smoke and a scent. I suspect foul play here. What do you think happened Ottofar? And you as well Toaster, any ill affects from the missing green?

My first guess is that it might mean that Ottofar's candle might be out permanently. That would certainly kill stalemates.
