And what's the Soylent Green made from, anyway?
Um...think about it for a sec. What do you put into the machine to make it?

Create a container for liquids. And an electric guitar and amp.

+1 to a better vending mechine, -1 to the electric guitar/amp. While we do this, have Figura go into the red foggy place (I'm calling that "Hell" from here on out, if it doesn't already have a name) and see if anything's changed.

Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

You consider making a weapon, but decide that there's nothing to use it on. Instead, you decide to make the vending machine better...somehow.

You also check the fog. Nothing. You call it "Hell".

Use the soylent green on the hotplate, after the hotplate is turned on. Eat the result. Take the plate shard, and use it to cut up the couch. Use the wool in the couch, and our creativity, to make some clothing for figura.

+1 to everything there. Except the clothing bit. Statues don't need clothes.

After all, you've barely got more than she.

Less, by weight.

Re: A Beginner's Guide: That Looks Like a Wall

You have several ideas. Firstly, some couch-diving... [21] You find several small, round objects and what I'll skip the amnesiac nonsense with and just call a candy bar. Useful. You also check under the bed, but it's roasted anything interesting you might have found there. There also don't seem to be any empty spaces in the walls, unless you count the big one outside.

You then show Figura the crowbar.

"Hey, do you recognize this?"
"Of course I do, you've been carrying it around this whole time."
"No, I mean from...before."
"Before...before I saw you were carrying it?"
"Yeah."
"No."

Hm.

Next, you stick an egg in the machine and activate it. Out the other end comes a sort of...clear puddingy thing, with a hard orange chunk in the middle. You spread the pudding on a piece of bread, add the chunk on top, and add another piece of bread.
[+4 Nutrition, +1 Vitamins, +1 Minerals, -4 Toxicality] You feel great! Anyways, you manage to vomit some vomit into the machine and turn it into soylent green, which is then put on the plate, which is then put on the altar. Nothing happens. What a let-down.

Now to check out that "portal" thingy.

Try to dig through the wall of "Hell" to where we should end up in a neighboring room to see if it is, in fact, a portal, or just a really weird door.
